We drove a different way than before, when we were on the way to the temple.  We didn't want the Kaechis to know where we would go.

Filippa looked on the map and saw that we had only some forest left and then we would drive through a city.
I really hoped there would be some people there.

I was getting sleepier as we drove. We really didn't have much time left until we would have to stop. Maybe at the city would be a good place.

We were at the outskirts of the city. I saw some people there and took it as a good sign.

As we drove closer to the middle of the city, I saw more and more people on the streets. Some were buying things from fruit stands or other outdoor shops.

Filippa saw a good-looking hotel and we parked the car to check it out.

A room for the night was really cheap, we could easily afford it. I looked around us, as we stood in line. The entrance was big and there was lots of light shining in. There were two guards standing by the door, all dressed in black. They even had sunglasses on. I thought that was weird. The sun wasn't shining that bright.

There were two corridors. One on the left side of the reception and the other on the right. They were big, just as the door. The room we were standing in had a big chandelier looking like it was made of crystal, hanging from the ceiling. The ceiling was very high up and there was probably echo in the room.

It was our turn and I approached the woman, sitting behind the counter.

"A room for two, please." I said to her. I didn't really know what to say or how to act because I had never done this before. It had always been my dad or my mom. So I just said what I thought would be good.

"Would you like to have a window? Or a bathroom?" She asked me

"Yes please" I answered her.

"OK, room number thirty two on the first floor. Two beds and a bathroom." She said and typed something on a computer.

"Breakfast is at 7 am. Don't forget to be out of the room by 11 am." She told us as she handed us the key.

We went up to our room and left our things on the bed. I went into the bathroom and took a shower. Then it was Filippas turn.

After we showered, we watched a movie on the TV in front of our beds. We could finally have a calm moment.

We watched our second movie when Filippa said something.

"We should be ready, just in case something happens."

"Like what?" I asked her

"The Kaechis might still get us here. Maybe this is a trap. Don't you think this went a little too easy? The rooms are cheap, this is a five star hotel and we have protection from the guards at the door. Also, they didn't care that we are two children without their parents, paying for a hotel room. Not to mention the car. You drove us here. They would've arrested us a long time ago." She said.

"I don't really think something is going to happen but you're right, we should be careful. Better safe than sorry." I said.

We locked the door and put some things, including a chair, under the door so it would be difficult to open. We also put a bottle of water on the handle. That way, if someone would push down the handle, the bottle would fall down on our side of the door and wake us up.

We readied our bag and took out the rope we used earlier, in case we would need to climb out the window.

We then examined our work. It looked good and would definitely work.

I changed into my pajamas and lied down on the bed. I had to get some sleep so I could drive us to our destination. We would have a long night before us.

It took a while to fall asleep. I wasn't used to sleep during day and the daylight disturbed me. There was nothing I could do so I tried to ignore it. Eventually, I fell asleep. I was too tired to stay awake a long time.

A/N: I haven't stopped writing. I just couldn't find the time for it. I'm sorry. At least I'm back now. Anyway, I wanted to tell that there aren't many chapters left. Thank you for reading, have a great day!
