I ate my breakfast, took my bag, said bye to my mom and went out. I had 15 minutes of walking to school so I used that time to think. I haven't tried to be friends with Filippa again, but maybe it was time. I couldn't stand another group work with her.

I was a bit early but it shouldn't be that quiet. There was no noise. I went up to floor one and asked "hello, anybody here?" No one answered so I checked all the rooms, nobody was there. I did the same thing on floor two, three and four. Still not a single person.

I saw something move in the corner of my eye. I quickly turned around and looked that way. Ther was nothing there. Maybe it was my imagination. I checked floor 4 again but no one was there. I was alone. In my school. Where there should be at least 100 people. Something was definetly wrong.

Maybe I should have called my friends, or the police, or someone else but of course I continued down to floor minus one where the the cafeteria and the Pe class is. Still no sound. Or human.

I went to the changing room and checked in there, I didn't find anything except a little pool of something red. I know what that was so I ran out of there and checked the cafeteria quickly. Still nobody there. I ran up and was just about to leave the school when I heard someone.

"Hello?" It sounded like it came from floor two.

I ran up and followed the voice into the library. I ran in to Filippa and we both fell. Not her, why does it always have to be her?

"Where are the others?" I asked

"I don't know. It was all super quiet and nobody was here. Then I heard someone running, besides, you almost gave my a heart attack."

"Did you try to contact the others?"

"Yes, but they didn't answer. Something is wrong. When I came here I saw that the streets were empty, usually there are tons of people walking to their jobs. Even some of the cars were left in the middle of the road without a driver."

"I don't like this."

She snorted "Do you think I do?"

"Where do you think everyone is?"

"I don't know, but I think we should stay put. We are easier pray alone but we are stronger together. We can check your house first and then we go to my house"

"Deal"
