Rowan's POV:

I wake up on the couch again and see all the empty containers and wrappers from Tay and I last night.  We laughed, we cried and we smiled at all the movies that we watched last night.  It was probably even better than being set up on a date with Grayson.  Who am I kidding I really enjoyed that date up until he called me "bud" but he apologized so it's all good.  I see Tay walk into the living room with breakfast. "Hey sleepyhead, I made breakfast."

"Yeah I can tell, is that plate of delicious food for me?"

"Ha you would have thought, you can go dish out your own food lazy ass." she said laughing.

"You are so mean to me, why?"

She puts her hand to her chest and acts hurt again.  She does this all the time, it's our thing to mess with each other. "Me, mean, never."  I laugh and then throw the blankets off me and walk into the kitchen.  Today is Monday and I don't have work which is a surprise but I have class at 4pm so that's a bummer.  But it's still a lazy day none the less.  I grab some waffles, sausage, eggs and hash browns.  I pour syrup on all of it and grab a fork along with my very sweet coffee and head back to the living room to watch GMA with Tay.

We finish off our breakfast and I get up to go take a shower and Tay continues watching GMA. She was obsessed with watching it every morning.  Don't ask why, she just is a freak when it comes to that show.  I take off my cute silky pajamas and hop into the hot shower.  I just shave, wash my hair, wash my face and clean my body off.  I turn off the water and hop out.  I hear the door close downstairs so I imagine it's probably Ethan coming to hang out with Tay.  I walk out of the bathroom and head to my room in my towel and see Grayson walking up the stairs.

"Um, hey."  he says a little off guard by my lack of clothes.

"Uh, hi.  Let me just go get my clothes on and I'll be down in a sec, ok?"

"Got it." He turns back and walks down the stairs.  I run to my room really fast and get on a cute outfit.   A crop top and some shorts, I guess this will have to do.  I walk back to the bathroom and blow dry my hair real quick so its not dripping wet.  I go to walk down the stairs and Grayson starts walking up. "Hey I was coming back down, what are you doing?"

"Um they are in the living room sucking each others faces right now and I didn't really wanna impose on them."

"Oh gotcha, we can talk in my room I guess."

"Alright."  I lead him to my room and we sit on my bed and turn on Netflix to see what's on.  

"So did you have fun last night?"  He asks hesitantly.

"Yeah it was a lot of fun, I haven't been mini golfing in like 2 years."

"Really, why?"

"Oh just busy with work and school I guess."

"Oh cool where do you go to school at?"

"I go to FIDIM, I actually have class at 4 today."

"Oh so you have a few hours till that."

"Yep.  So why did you come here with your brother?"

"Um because I wanted to see you."

"Oh right, duh."  This conversation was going nowhere really fast.  "Do you wanna go do something?"

"Uh yeah what do you have in mind?"

"Swimming?  I know there is a pool at your apartment complex."

"That sounds really nice, yeah let's go."  I grab a bathing suit and my bag and we head downstairs.  We didn't bother saying bye to Taylor and Ethan because they were to busy on that couch.  I mentally make a note to not sit on that couch ever again.  We decided to walk since it was only 3 blocks and it was a pretty nice day out.  

We get to the apartment complex and go up their apartment so we can both change.  He leads me to the bathroom and I change in there while he changes in his room.  I walk out with my crop top on and I see him walking out of his room with only his shorts on and I suddenly feel self conscious of my body because he was so defined and his abs, good lord.  I guess I was staring to long because he waved his hand in front of my face.  

"Rowan, hello?" I shake my head and look at him.

"Sorry, I just um- wanna go to the pool now?"

He chuckled, "Yeah let's go."   We walk down to the pool and he cannon balls into the pool. Such a guy thing to do.  I walk over to the seats and take off my crop top and go to the side of the pool with stairs and walk in slowly.  I guess I was taking too long coming in so Grayson came over and grabbed me and dunked me in.

"Grayson! What the actual fuck did you do that for?"

He laughed, "Sorry you were taking too long so I thought I'd help ya out."

"Well thanks I guess."  We just swim a  bit and talk and at one point he turns around and I decide to go up behind him and dunk his head in the water.  I did and he came up and wiped his eyes so he could see where I was at and I backed up until I hit a wall and he got so close to me we could just kiss.  Both of us were breathing heavily and I could feel him leaning in.

Ethan and Taylor walked in, "Hey what are you guys doin- oh I see we interrupted something."  We both immediately swam away from each other and didn't really talk that much after that.  I went over to Taylor and hung out with her till we had to go at 3 so I could get ready for class.

*At FIDIM*

I couldn't concentrate the entire class, I just kept thinking about how Grayson and I almost kissed and how Ethan and Tay had to ruin it.  Our teacher dismissed the class early so I gathered up my things and started off towards where Tay was gonna pick me up.  I see her car and walk over to it and get in.  I look over and its Grayson.

"Hey, where is Taylor?"

"Oh she is busy I guess so she asked me to pick you up."

"Oh well thank, I appreciate it."  The drive back to the condo was pretty silent until Grayson pipes up, "Hey I'm sorry about today, I know that was pretty awkward having Taylor and E walk in on us, um almost kissing."

"Yeah it was a little awkward, but I want you to know I would have kissed you.  It's just that Tay would be talking about it for like a month non stop and I didn't feel like being harassed with all the questions about it."

"Nah I get it, it's all good, maybe we could try it another time when they aren't going to barge in on us."  I smile and he smiles too.  He parks the car and we get out and walk up to my door.  I'm about to open the door but then a pair of hands grabs my face and its Grayson obviously.  We look at each other for a minute and he plants his lips on mine and we kiss.  The kiss felt amazing, like how you are supposed to feel like.

We pull apart breathlessly and I open the door.  "Thank you for the ride and the um kiss."  I smile and kiss him on the cheek and walk inside.  "Bye Rowan, see you later."

"Bye Gray." With that I close the door and just smile, that was amazing.  I bite my lip thinking how he kissed me ever so gently and my thoughts get interrupted by Tay, "Hey girlie sorry I didn't pick you up- wait why are you smiling like that.  I haven't see you smile like that since you started dating your college boyf- OH MY GOD!  DID HE KISS YOU?!?!?!"  All I can do is nod my head yes.  She runs over to me starts asking me all the questions I knew she would but I didn't care, I was happy to.
