*7 months later*

Grayson's POV:

I wake up to see an empty bed. I rub my eyes and get out of bed. I wonder where Rowan is so I head downstairs and walk to the kitchen. I turn the corner and see her sitting on the kitchen counter scrolling through Instagram eating her avocado toast. She was obsessed and who could blame her it was bomb. I think to myself, she looks so cute just chilling there not giving a care in the world and I definitely wouldn't mind waking up to that every morning.

I hit my side on the corner of the counter top and wince in pain causing her to turn around mid bite.

"Ya good babe?"

"Yeah I'll be fine in a minute," I change the subject, "How is your avocado toast?"

"It is so bomb, want some babe?"

I walk over to where she is on the counter, "Yeah babe let me try some." I go to bite it and she moves the slice of toast away so I bite air. She just chuckles and puts her hand in front of her mouth. She never liked her laugh but I didn't get it because it was probably one of the most adorable things I've heard ever. She waves her hand in front of my face, "Earth to G? Ya there bud?"

I shake my head, "Did you just call me 'bud'? Did you just friend zone me love?"

She rolls her eyes and leans down to kiss me. I tickle her and she just laughs into the kiss.

"You're cute you know that? So do you want avocado toast?" she says wiggling her eyebrows.

"Yes, please babe. And I clearly remember you saying that calling me 'cute' didn't do me any justice. And you called me your 'hot ass boyfriend', I do believe."

She hops off the counter and hits my arm playfully. "How is it that you always remember the smallest little details?"

"Because I always want to remember everything that happens with you, that's why."

She just shakes her head and puts the toast in the toaster and gets the avocado ready.

"How do you think Taylor and Ethan are doing right now?"

"I don't know, I know that they were planning on going into New York today, so they should be up and on their way by now."

After Ethan got out of the coma 7 months ago, Taylor forgave Ethan and they talked everything over and have been inseparable since. Two weeks ago they decided to go my parents house and stay there for like a month just to get some stuff figured out and if I was correct they would come back engaged. I didn't tell Rowan that though because Ethan didn't want anyone knowing, I only found out because I saw the ring box on the dresser and he made me promise not to say anything.

"That should be fun, I know Gossip Girl is her favorite show so maybe she'll drag him to some of her favorite spots from the show." She looks back at me and smiles. "What are you thinking about? I can see those gears turning in there."

"Nothing really, just thinking how Ethan and I aren't able to post for a month because we won't be together. We've never been apart for so long."

"Yeah that is odd, but I have to ask what happens when both of you guys get married, you guys are gonna have to live separately right?"

"Oh we have that all planned out. We are gonna buy this huge piece of land and build two houses on it and put a secret tunnel underneath so we can always hang out but also be separate."

"Oh my god that is the most extra but cute thing I have ever heard of." She walks over to me and puts the plate of avocado toast in front of me. She smiles at me and looks me in the eyes. I know that look and I grab her waist and kiss her. We pull apart after a minute and she looks at me seriously. "What is it baby?"

"I know it is a stupid question question to ask considering we haven't even been dating for a year but, do you see yourself marrying me in the future?"
