Grayson's POV:

Rowan starts unlocking her front door and I grab her face. I stare into her beautiful blue eyes and just kiss her. After about a minute we pull apart and and she opens the door. "Thank you for the ride and the um kiss." She smiles and kisses me on the cheek and walks inside. "Bye Rowan, see you later."

"Bye Gray." I turn around and smile. That kiss just felt so right. I wonder if she felt the same. I mean she has to right. I start walking back to the apartment because I needed time to just clear my head and process what my next step is with Rowan. I know I want to date her but I want to get to know her better first. Maybe we should go on a few dates first, yeah that sounds good.

I finally arrive back at the apartment and unlock the door and walk in. "Ethan? You here bro?" I don't hear an answer so I guess he has gone out. Weird he wasn't at Taylor and Rowan's place. I wonder where he is. I walk into my room and throw on a pair of sweats and take off my shirt because why not right.

I hear someone leave the bathroom and think it's E, but he didn't bother answering me when I called out to him earlier. Odd. "E?" I walk over to his room. And I'm shocked to see Andie, my crazy ex in there. "What the actual fuck are you doing in my apartment?"

"Grayson, you scared me. Would you please calm down, I just want to talk."

"Yeah you said that last time and you tried to get me to have sex with you."

"Yeah I have to apologize for that, I wasn't myself that day."

I sigh, "Fine what do you want to talk about?"

"Can we go to your room and talk please?"

"I guess, but no funny business you got that Andie."

She throws her hands up, "Wouldn't even think of that now."

"By the way how the hell did you get into the apartment?"

"Um Ethan let me in on the way out, he said he was gonna go get coffee and go to these girls' house, I think he said their names were Taylor and Rowan?"

"Yeah of course he would go over there. He has a thing with Taylor and I kinda have a thing with Rowan." We walk into my room and I close the door. We talk all night about our relationship and how she wants a fresh start, and that she wants to get back together with me. I shoot down that option really quickly because I don't have feelings for her anymore and I really really like Rowan. I guess we both ended up dozing off and I had my arm wrapped around her, I have no idea how that happened she was asleep on the other bed before I fell asleep.

I remove my hand from being around her and look around. It was the next day, dang. I grab my phone off the nightstand and see its 9:30am. I get up off the bed gently making sure not to wake Andie up. I mean no matter how much shit she put me through I still cared but not like that anymore. I walk into the kitchen and see Ethan and he gives me a confused look. "Bro what the fuck why the hell were you cuddling with Andie, ya know that crazy ass ex of yours?"

"Dude it wasn't what it looked like ok, she wanted to talk so we talked a lot and we both fell asleep, but the weird thing was she was on the other bed before we fell asleep. She must have moved when I was dead asleep and didn't notice."

"Well ya know Taylor was over here last night because Rowan wanted a quiet house to study and she saw you guys cuddling on the bed. She left as soon as she saw it. I'm guessing she already told Rowan what she saw dude, you should probably fix it."

"Are you fucking kidding me, you let her leave without letting me explain what was going on. God if Rowan doesn't know already I'll be happy." Andie walks in rubbing her eyes and we both look at her because she took the liberty of wearing some of my clothes apparently. I mean it's no different to when I was dating her crazy ass. "What's for breakfast mah dudes?"

"Never say that ever again." Ethan says kind of annoyed.

"Woah sorry to bug the big ol drama queen. Have you not had your morning coffee?"

"Fuck off Andie, we know what you are planning and it isn't going to work." Ethan says getting pissed off now.

"I have no idea what you are talking about, Oh Gray some girl, Rowan, texted you saying she was coming over in like 10 minutes."

"WHAT!? You need to get out of my clothes now and leave!" I hear a knock on the door and point at my room for Andie to understand that she needs to go. She walks back there and is hopefully changing. I open the door and see Rowan, she looks hurt, pissed and not her usual self.

"Come in."

"What the hell Gray? Why is it that I get waken up at 2 am to find out that you were with another girl last night after what happened yesterday?"

"Look Rowan, it wasn't like that. She was asleep on the other bed when I fell asleep, she must have moved when I was asleep." Andie then walks out holding the clothes of mine she was just wearing and hands them to me.

"Thanks for letting me borrow these, last night was fun Gray." And with that she walked out. I look back at Rowan and she looks disappointed. "Ro, I can explain I-" I don't even get to finish before she runs out of the apartment. I try to run after her but she gets in the elevator to quick. I run to the stairs to get down to her in time but no luck, she was gone. I go back up to the apartment and throw on a t-shirt and shoes and head over to the condo. Hopefully she will let me explain and we can be ok again.
