I cautiously slid into the front seat as Alex resumed driving not even waiting for me to buckle my seatbelt.
"Is there a reason I'm here?" I asked after moment of silence.
I saw him roll his eyes but didn't bother answering me.
Rude.
Amber was too busy on her phone barley paying attention to us.
I sighed in frustration which apparently was amusing to Alex as he chuckled.
"I'm glad frustrating me amuses you." I said sarcastically which only caused him to laugh more.
Normally I wouldn't have been able to get one word out when I'm around Alex.
Maybe being with Jordan is actually helping after all.
"What's so funny?" Amber asked looking up from her phone in annoyance.
"Nothing." Alex replied coldly.
And he's back. I swear this dude's bipolar.
"Whatever." She replied as she got out the car. I didn't even realize we'd stopped in front her house.
"See you later babe." She winked at Alex before trotting away.

Alex took me to his house and worked out a schedule for the "baby"
He didn't bother dropping me home as Amber showed up about an hour later and he was well... occupied.
I started walking towards my house as the sun slowly melted over the horizon.
It wasn't a long walk to my house thankfully so I was home before nightfall.
The rest of the night was uneventful.
As I laid in bed that night the last thing that ran through my mind was why did Alex make Amber sit in the back seat.
Are they fighting?
No they were all over each other before I left his house.
I scolded myself for even thinking about them. About him.
I have Jordan now. I'm happy.
Or am I?
