There Must Be Some Mistake! Harry Potter!

Ch.4 Buckbeak

"Thank god it's Friday," I say to Neville. Everyone has been asking how I was able to produce a Patronus. And all I have to answer with is, I don't know. "I can't wait for care of magical creatures today," Neville says. 

At the moment, we're sitting by the black lake. It's our free period and then we have care of magical creatures. Which I can't wait for! "Me too. Do you think Hagrid will be a good professor." I say, although I already know what Neville will say. "Of course. I mean, it's Hagrid," he says. 

"What do you think we'll be doing today." I question "Knowing Hagrid he'll probably have a dragon waiting for us." Neville says. I give a small laugh." Or maybe a giant- oh Merlin look at the time." I say standing up. "Oh my god we're going to be late." He says. 'Come on." I shout as I start running towards Hagrid's hut. I hear footsteps behind me, so I know that Neville's behind me.

I stop once I reach Hagrid's hut. "Where are they," I say to Neville. Then I hear a voice coming from the forbidden forest saying "Wait right here I'll be back" I know straight away it's Hagrid and it's coming from not far into the forest.

 "Come on," I say to Neville, as I start running towards the forest. I know that Neville is following me because I can hear his loud footsteps. The class comes into view, with no Hagrid. Thank god! Everyone turns to look at us as we come running towards us. "Where have you been!" Séamus says. I walk over to them breathing heavily and lean on him trying to catch my breath. "We lost track of time." Neville says "What were ye doing." Dean says. I haven't talked to him since that night. "Just talking," Neville says. "God, I'm so unfit," I say. Just then Hagrid comes out with a flying horse thing.

"This is Buckbeak a hippogriff," he says proudly. Okay so maybe it's not a flying horse. "Hippogriffs are very proud animals." he says "Now, who here would like to pet her," he says everyone takes a step back, well everyone besides Harry. 

Idiot. 

"Well done Harry," Hagrid says. Harry looks around and realizes that everyone took a step back. "Come on up Harry," Hagrid says. Harry slowly walks up and bows. After a couple of seconds Buckbeak bows also. Harry pets Buckbeak on his head. Then Hagrid claps his hands together and says "Now let's get you on him." "What!Hagri-"Harry says. But Hagrid had already put him on Buckbeaks back. Hagrid slaps Buckbeak and Buckbeak takes off.

A couple minutes later Harry comes back. He gets of Buckbeak. All of a sudden Draco starts walking up to Buckbeak. "Can't be that hard if Potter can do it. You're not so scary, are you? You ugly brute." he says and he probably would have said more if Buckbeak hadn't hit him. He fell to the ground and started shouting out, "It's killed me! I'm dying!"

 Everyone looked shocked and I just couldn't help but laugh. "Hagrid you have to take him to the hospital wing," Hermione says. "I'll do it," I say. I walk towards Draco, grab the back of his robes and haul him to his feet. I push him towards the way we came into the forest. "You're an idiot," I say to him. We start walking towards the castle. When I say we walk, what I mean is that I have to drag him and while he's still saying that he's dying. In the distance, I can hear Hagrid say, "Class dismissed."

Once we reach the hospital wing after a long and silent walk, Draco turns to me and says "Thanks, Charlotte." he winks and then walks into the hospital wing. I head towards the common room and realise that Draco Malfoy just said thanks. I must be imagining things.
