There Must Be Some Mistake! Harry Potter!

Ch.40 The Yule Ball Part 1

Everything was beautiful. Everything was a shimmery icy blue. My black dress stood out like a sore thumb. People looked amazing. Quite a bit better from when we are in our school uniforms. As I mentioned I was wearing a black dress. A Lacey black dress. Narcissa sent it to me. My mother sent me one too but it was not nearly as nice as the one Narcissa sent me. It makes me look alot older. I could be mistaken for a sixth year. Maybe even seventh. Claus said it make me look sophisticated . Oh speaking of Claus I found out something interesting.

"Are you going to the ball"I had asked. I was waltzing around the library returning books. "Yeah"Claus said following me. I turn to him and asked "Oooh who's the lucky girl?". Claus leaned against a table and said nothing. "Oh come one please tell me you've asked.Nobody in this school would say no to you"I said sitting next to him. "Well..its..its not really like that.Its just....um....well its just that my broomstick flies the other way"Claus said looking at me. I scrunched my eyebrows up in confusion until it clicked. Claus is gay.

Plenty of people were in the great hall waiting for the ball to start. The tri-wizard champions open the ball. This completely caught Harry off guard. "You look beautiful"Justin said holding my hand. "Thats the tenth time you said that Justin"I said smiling. "I just wanted to make sure you knew". I laugh gently looking around the room.  I spot Neville and Ginny standing talking to someone I can't. I smile. Suddenly music starts and the two doors to the hall open. In first was Fleur with Roger Davies. She looked very pretty. I could see a stray strand of hair turning blonde. I just sighed and continued to watch Fleur and Roger. Next was Viktor and ...HERMIONE! Holy shit. Then Cedric and Cho. Then Harry and Pravati. They all stop in the middle of everyone. The music stops. Everyone ready's themselves tod ance. Well everyone besides Harry. He doesn't have a clue what he's doing. The music starts again and everyone the champions start to dance. In Harry's case tries. He basically fails terribly. Soon enough Dumbledore and Minnie join in with the dancing. I spot Filch in the corner holding his cat Mrs Norris and dancing to the music. 

Next Igor Karkroff and his wife maybe? Anyways they start to dance too.Next Neville and Ginny walk out and start to dance. Soon after many people join in including Justin and I. It soon becomes crowed with people dancing and laughing. The red coats of Durmstrang fill the room. As Justin lifts me up I spot Draco and......Pansy. Ugh does he have any class. When Justin brings me back down I guess I must have look annoyed because he whispered in my ear "What's wrong?". All of a sudden louder music starts to play. And everyone stops their civilized dancing and start to dance like wild things. "Its too loud"I shout "I'll tell you later". The Weird Sisters start to play. I don't particularity care for wizard bands but its fun to dance to them. Justin and I start to dance together. Laughing all the while. I see that someone has picked up Professor Flitwick and he is now crowd surfing. The atmosphere is amazing. It doesn't even feel like we're in school. After a while of dancing Justin and I slip out of the crowed and go and get drinks. My throat has gone dry from everything. We walk around looking at the different Ice sculptures. We laugh,talk and hold hands the whole time. As we were stopped looking at an ice replica of Beauxbatons Justin placed his lips next to my ear and whispered "Want to get out of here?"
