Ch.55 Getting Caught

"No way"I hear in my state of half consciousness. "Do you think they..." "I'll wring his neck if they did" "She's 15" "No she has common sense than that." Voices ring around in my head. My mind drowsy from sleep doesn't register whats going on.I groan as nestle farther into Fred's chest. I remember falling asleep holding onto Fred. The things that the voices said are now making sense to me. 

"Wakey wakey Kiddos "I hear a very familiar voice say. George. I groan as I open my eyes. I look up to see Fred. Suddenly his eyes shift to the door and open in shock. I turn to see  group of people gathered in the doorway.George,Molly,Arthur,Ron,Ginny.I quickly push away from Fred " It's not what it looks like". In saying that it probably made it look even worse. "Really because it looks Fred and you fu-"George starts but before he finishes the sentence Molly smacks the side of his head. Fred hasn't said anything yet. He's probably as dazed as I am.

I hear footsteps approach the room. "What are you doing?"I hear the voice of Sirius Black say. He turns in to the room and Fred and I are still in bed. "Nope"He says quickly. "Nope,Nope,Nope"Sirius keeps repeating as he walks over to the bed. He pulls back the cover over me, grabs my waist and hoists me over his shoulder. He starts walking with me my legs dangling with my head facing his back. He walks a little down the hall before setting me down. "You and him aren't allowed in a room alone, and when there is someone there door stays open."Sirius says sternly.Then walks off. I smile. Like the father I never had

***********************************************************************************************"Charlotte, you didn't actually....you know...with Fred" Ginny asks me. We're sitting in her room. "No,Merlin no. I think everyone seems to be forgetting my Boyfriend"I say. "It's just looked like it you know" "I don't know why you think that because we were both fully clothed" I say sitting cross legged on her bed. "Merlin I miss Justin" I say bringing Justin's jumper sleeve to my nose. "It must be fun"Ginny says kneeling on the bed next to me. "What?"I ask. "You know having a boyfriend, having loads of boys after you"Ginny says brushing some of her bright red hair out of her face. 

"It's kind of a nightmare"I sigh. "I wish boys liked me"She says pouting. "Don't say that, I bet plenty of boys like you. I mean Neville asked you to the Yule Ball last year."I say hopefully. We both start to laugh. "Okay he might not be the most good looking but he's sweet"I say through the laughter. Our laughter dies down a bight then she asks "How many people did ask you to the Yule Ball?" Ginny asks. "11 not including Justin. So 12 really"I say. "12!"Ginny says in shock. "I guess it is a lot"I say. I start to run my fingers through her hair. "Ginny I wish I had your hair. Mine's just so brown and boring." I say starting to loosely braid it. "Don't forget your periodically blonde"Ginny laughs. 

"You're special Char" "What do you mean?"I ask turning my braid into a fishtail. "Youngest person to cast a corporeal patronus,part veela, you have lads chasing your every step, you're extremely pretty and smart" "But most of that is superficial, it matters what's on the inside not on the outside."I say letting go of the braid and letting her hair tumble down into it's natural. position. 

"People always say that"Ginny says turning around and facing me. "And that's because it's true."I say rolling of the bed and face plant on the floor. "You alright?"Ginny asks. "I am becoming one with the floor"
