I almost walk into a door because I'm so distracted.
I've gone from being angry to being upset. My parents, why would they do that to me? Is it because Draco's the only one capable of carrying on the Malfoy Name? Better snatch him up quickly.
"What an honor to marry a Malfoy, to give him children!" My mother will say. It's definitely not an honor to marry him, to have his children. It will never happen. I will never marry Draco Malfoy.
When I walk into my detention room I quickly zoom past Draco. I'm not going to talk to him. Especially after what happened last night. I slam my parchment on the table loudly and slump down into my seat. The Professor who's supervising us isn't here yet.
"Nice to see you too," Draco says from behind me. I just ignore him "You know you really hurt my nose. You have quite a strong punch." He says trying to strike up a conversation. I just cross my arms looking ahead. What he does next raises his voice, obviously trying to imitate a girl's voice, and say, "I'm sorry Draco...... I love you".
That's what sets me off. I turn around and almost yell, "First of all I don't even tolerate you and second I don't sound like that". "You do sound like that". I stick out my chin and say in a snobby voice, "Well I'm Draco Malfoy and I think being a pureblood makes me better than everyone". "But it does," He says. I laugh a little but stop when he says, "Hey I made you laugh". "If you weren't all the way over there, I would punch you again," I say turning around. I see that he's already shrunk back into his seat.
I turn back to the top of the room before I feel something hit the back of my head. I look towards the floor and see a piece of paper on the floor. I turn to see Draco with a smug grin on his face. I pick it up and throw it back into his face.
A few minutes later we have a full-blown fight going, papers flying everywhere until we hear a voice from outside "Stop". It's a familiar voice but for some reason, I can't place it.
We drop everything we have and run to our seats. A few seconds later the man from the train comes in. Professor Lupin. "Well, nice to see the engaged couple are getting along," He says walking to the top of the room. "How do you know about that?" I ask. "How could I not know, you screamed it loud enough. Anyways you're going to doing lines," He says quickly.
He walks up to the chalkboard and in messy writing he scribbles. "I must not start fights". I start to write the sentence over and over again. And over and over again. And over again. And over again. And ove- wait is that getting annoying.Sorry
"Alright, it's been two hours and quite frankly I'd rather be in bed right now. So you two can go." Lupin says closing a book. I pick up my stuff and leave as quickly as I can. "Wait! Charlotte," Draco calls me. I stop and turn around. "What?" "Good Luck in the Quidditch match".
He's talking about the one we had to reschedule because of not having replacements. I'm playing and so is my brother. Draco's playing as well. I look him dead in the eye and say, "Yeah, have fun losing" I turn on my heels and walk to the common room. I climb into the portrait hole to see Séamus, Dean, Ron, and Neville.
"How was detention with your future husband?" Séamus says. I look at him with the most agitated face as the group of guys laugh. Dean grabs my hand and the rest of the boys leave. After what happened last night nobody wants to see anymore.
"Are your parents coming to the match tomorrow?"He asks. I nod, "Just to see my brother play though," "You know they're awful to you?" "Well it is my fault, I was put in Gryffindor" "You know all Slytherin's are cowards. You're not like your family. You're brave". I smile as I look up at Dean.

I crawl into bed that night already half asleep. I toss and turn all night thinking about if I couldn't break the engagement and I'd have to marry Draco. I must have thought about it a little too much because I had a dream about it or maybe I should it a nightmare.

He's screaming and wailing. I walk around the room with him in my arms. My son. "Please, Mommy's tired too. Please, Raphael just stop crying!" I said patting his back. Draco walks in. He's just coming back from work. "What's wrong with the little prince?" He asks. I walk over to Draco and hand my son off to Draco. "Everything," I say as Raphael stops crying. I let out a sigh of relief. I sit down on the edge of my bed. Draco comes over and sits next to me.
"He likes you better," I say hoarsely. "That's not true," He says kissing the top of Raphael's head. I take a deep breath. "I'm scared I'm going to screw up this kid," I say. "I know you. You are the bravest person I've ever known. You shouldn't be scared of a little baby." Draco says handing Raphael back to me. "No Draco don't," I said panicking. He gently lifts away his hands so my son is in my arms. Somehow Draco got him to sleep. I look at Draco smiling. He leans his head in and presses his lips against mine.

I wake up screaming. Waking up all of the girls. Lamps turn on around the room as they all glare at me. "I'm sorry it was just a nightmare," I say feeling guilty for waking them. "Well, what was it about?" Hermione asks. "Um... ah... dementors," I say lying. I can't fall asleep again. I don't want to dream that again. I don't want to be with Draco Malfoy.
