Chapter 16- Sydney

~Sydney~

(Madison's P.O.V.)

"Got everything you need? Passport? Ticket? Phone?" Finn asked

"Yeah, Finny. I got everything. I'll call you when we get to Sydney" i replied and kissed his cheeks

Jack and Emmy walked towards me so i can say my good-byes, "I'm going to miss all of you" 

"Same with us. Next time, it's out turn to visit you" Jack tightly hugs me

"I'll look forward to that" I smiled at them for the last time and entered the airport with Chris

"Flight 3422 to Sydney, Australia is now boarding in Gate 12" the announcer said

"That's us" Chris took my hand and we walk towards the said gate

Before giving my ticket, i looked back hoping to see Luke for the last time

"I don't think he's coming"

"I know. For some reasons, i know he's here. I can just feel it" i sighed and entered the plane that's going to take me back to Sydney.

(Luke's P.O.V.)

"She's leaving" Ashton said behind me as we try to hide from Madison

"I know"

"Aren't you going to stop her? Aren't you going to be like those movies where the boy stops the girl from leaving?" Kayla asked

"No. I'm probably the last person she'll want to see right now. I'll give her some space" i turned around walking towards my car.

Once again, i'm seeing someone i love running away from me. Ony this time, seeing Madison leave hurts way more that seeing Patricia leave. 

~Back to Sydney~

(Madison's P.O.V)

At 7:00 p.m. local time, I'm finally back in Sydney. The place where most of the happiest and saddest memories i had with Luke.

"We're here. Are you okay" Chris questions as he pulls his bag towards the exit. 

"I know and i am not sure" I sighed and spotted the car that is going to take us home

"oh, i heard from Jack that your class will be returning back in 2 days." he informed me and piled his bag in the van

"So?" i laugh nervously pretending not to care

"Are you sure that's enough time for you to ready yourself until you see him again?"

i sighed again, "Chris, i will never be ready to see him again."

We climbed up to the vehicle and it drove us home

"I heard you have a penguin back at home!" Chris squealed, "What's his name?"

I smiled at him, "His name is Pingu! You'll meet him soon!"

~Home~

"What?! What did you do to my penguin?!" i exclaimed at my mother

"Sweetie, your father told me to either throw him away or return him back."

"But, mom! He's mine and i get to choose if he stays or not!" i said frustratingly with tears falling from my eyes

I am not going to lie. I like having Pingu with me because he is the only thing that reminds me of the happy fun stuff i did with Luke. He holds memories that i would want to keep forever.
