Chapter 23 - The Truth

~The Truth~

(Madison's P.O.V.)

Ever since the English class ended, I've never seen Luke since and Calum has never left my side. As a matter of fact, he made me smile. At the end of the day, Josh came to get me by my locker.

"Hey" he greeted

I smiled at him, "Hello"

"So, who's your friend?" he raised his eyebrow and looked at Calum

"Josh, this is Calum and Calum, this is Josh" i introduced them to each other and surprisingly, i didn't go very awkward as i see in T.V.

"So, you're going to take her to a date tonight?" he asked him and my eyes grew big

"You knew?!" i pulled Josh away and whispered

"Of course. I know everything" i smirked and went towards Calum

"If you could, order everything with ice cream in it" Josh tells him and they started to walk away leaving me alone.

I face-palmed myself and followed them

"Actually in general, she loves anything that has a connection with food or anything that's edible" they continue to talk about me.

I plugged my headset in my phone and put the volume louder so i won't hear them"

At least he doesn't hate him.

(Luke's P.O.V.)

"Ashton, leave me alone!!" i shouted at my best friend who keeps on banging the bathroom door

"God dammit, Luke! Please don't tell me you're going to do it again!" Michael shouts and the both continued hitting the door

Does it matter anymore? Who cares if i'm doing it again? Would her feelings towards me change if i do it or not?

"Luke, give me the fucking blade!" Ashton keeps on knocking and probably kicking the door

I shrugged them off and let the new blade cut through my wrist. The familiar pain quickly struck on my left arm. As i do it, blood runs down to the sink.

One....

...Two...

....Three.

3 cuts. I continued to watch the blood come out of the scar and the sink turn red because of my blood. No one know about this habit of mine. I don't really tell it to anyone except Ashton and Michael. I guess i was too ashamed to tell people my pathetic way of destroying myself.

I washed off the blood that was starting to dry. I took some band-aids and placed them on top of each scars. I hid away the blade and exited the bathroom where Ash and Mike are glaring at me.

"Luke, you need to permanently stop" Mike tells me while i try to find my old tribal bracelets.

"What's the use? My parents don't know and she's left me" i answered and opened each of my drawers

"How can you be so sure of that?" Ash questions and i finally found myt bracelets. I wore enough to cover the possible mark that my scars are going to leave

"She's going on a date with Calum tonight" i answered

I left the room and went to the balcony
