Chapter 27- Katherine

(Madison's P.O.V.)

The next day, Calum managed to convince me about going to school. I got up early, washed my hair and wore the school uniform. I looked at myself in mirror and applied enough make-up. Then, i exited room and ran to the kitchen to see what's for breakfast. My mother will probably be home later from her business trip while my father will probably home in like a month or so.

"Morning" Chris greets me and i sat down on one of the chairs.

"Where's Josh?" i asked as i take a piece of bacon

"I don't know what's wrong with him. One day, he came home angry and didn't leave him room"

"Oh yeah. He's not even eating lunch with me anymore. Is he still in his room?" i began to stand up when Chris stopped me.

"No. He left just 15 minutes before you go down. I hear him on the phone talking about a girl named Katherine" he replied and took a bite from his food.

"Katherine? He's never told me any Katherine in his life."

"Don't worry. I'm going to call her mom to ask"

"Oh, sure."

I nodded and pulled put my phone to check any of my social media.

"Before i forget. Your mom is going to have a dinner with someone later when she gets home. She asked me to tell you to be home early." 

"Dinner? With who?"

"No idea."

~School~

 As i walk along the familiar hallway, a more familiar pair of arms was wrapped around my body.

"Hey there, gorgeous" he greets me and i felt myself blush

"Hey there. Why so early, Caum" i ask

"Can you do me a favor?" he asked back and rested his chin on my shoulder

"Uhm, sure. I guess"

"Say you love me" he blurted out

"What?"

"Say you love me"

I smiled and bit my lower lip

"What's the magic word?"

"Say you love me, please?" he begged

"It's actually pizza but since you're cute, i love you" i smile and turned around to kiss him in the lips.

The kiss started to get heated when someone behind us cleared his throat. Calum stops the kiss and sighed

"Hey Luke" he greeted and i turned around to see Luke in the middle of the corridor with his backpack flung to his right shoulder.

"Hi" i whispered

"Hey guys" he cheerfully said and walked towards us. 

Calum grips my waist tighter in the left arm. Luke walks past us and he slipped a piece of paper in my hand.

"You okay?" Calum asked 

I nodded in response and gripped the paper that Luke gave me secretly.

(Luke's P.O.V.)

After the encounter, i went to the sound-proof booth in the music room to shout as loud as i can

"You look stupid in there" Ashton talks through the microphone while laughing
