My Brittle Barricade

Chapter 17

Ok so now I don't know what is gong to happen to me.
I was in that old women's office and it was a mess.

A papers were everywhere on the desks and on the floor and folders and 3 file cabinets in  the corner.

I wonder what was going to happen to me.
She came back in with a small folder in her hand
I had Johnny teddy bear in my hand I want to keep it to remember  him by and she said " is that teddy one of their"
I said " yes , I want to keep it remember them by "
She said " is that the only thing that you have of there's "
Something told me to lie and don't let her know about the neckless.
"Yes, I didn't take anything else "
" ok give me the teddy you can't have it were your going they want all personal self left out". She said in a harsh tone.

I didn't want to loose the teddy and I started to hold it tighter but she grew inpatient with me and just took it.
She then told me " step outside someone will be along some to deal with you and take you to the house".
 
Is that what is gonna happen to me I go to some house.
I was still sitting down in her office and she then told me " going didn't you hear me get out now and some one will be outside to deal with you"

I didn't like being in the office with her so I went out side and some other women was waiting for me and she just passed me and when into the office and that older women that I didn't like just said " yes that's her take her away now I have work to be doing "

I started to walk behind this other women .
She didn't seem like talking to me so I just stayed quiet.
Before I knew it I was in  the back of her car driving. To a place I didn't know.

So this is my life right now , this is what's going on in my head.
How can this happen to me. I had a bad life but I got away from it and I had a family , I was happy with them it's the only thing I wanted , my biggest wish answered.
Now it's gone ,  I'm back at the start on my own unhappy , unwanted life.

I was told by the women driving to get out and ring the door bell someone will be alone.
I did as she said and within minute an man open the door.
He looked scary and he had a look in his eye that made me feel unsafe.

He said "follow me and keep up and listen to what I have to say , understand".
His tone was harsh.

I followed him  and all he's said was  all the rooms in the house.
" his is the eating hall breakfast is at 7am , lunch is at 1:30pm and dinner is at 6:30pm"
I looked at him and nodded letting him know I understand.

He didn't like that " young lady I will not have nodding in the premises  now let's try that again this room is the eating hall breakfast is at 7am , lunch is at 1:30 pm and dinner is at 6:30pm"

I said " yes I got that all "
" you will address me as yes sir "
I felt like I couldn't breath and I didn't want to be here and be with him I said " yes sir "
And continue to follow him.
But I knew I won't like it here but I don't know what else to do.

" these 3 room will always be lock and you will not never be opening them or going in them under any permission , do you understand"
" yes sir "
We continue walking and made it to a head office I guess it was his office their was head master on a door.
he gave me a light grey outfit and there was another young women a bit older then me wearing the same outfit. But in a darker shade.
"Go with her now she will explain the rest."

She brought me to bathroom and told me to get in to the outfit.
I did as she told me to change In to the outfit .
She told me about this school but I wasn't really listen to her.
I couldn't I missed home and how I was stuck here.
She brought me to a small bedroom and told me "this is your room the morning bell will wake you up in the morning for breakfast"

The room was plain.
White walls , a bed in the corner. And that's it.
And I little bell in the top corner of the room.

I traced my fingers over my neckless and I knew if they found that they would take it away from me. 

First day of the rest of me life.
The bell rang so I guess it was breakfast Time now.
The door opened and I walked over to it and about 30 girls passed my door and they were all silent and in line.

And older women saw me just standing by the door and said "hand " I gave her my hand and she had a wooden stick and she hit my hand with it and pushed me into the line and my hand was in a pain and I continued to walk into the eating room and sat down beside the girl in front of me but everyone was sitting down in their lines.
There was a bowl in front of everyone and when the man from yesterday  sat down and said " eat " everyone picked up the spoon and eat.
But their wasn't a sound throughout the whole room.

When everyone was finished that man head master stood up and everyone looked at him.
He said " table A kitchen duty. Table B tidy duty. Table C and D classroom.

There was big B at the head of our table so I guess I was tidying.
Everyone walked away like they knew what they were doing.

30 older women came around and took some of us and I was one of them.
I ending up washing clothes and 3 older women were walking around and hitting some of the girl.
I don't know why but I knew I didn't want to get hit.
But I did a lot , I think they hit us when they like

I don't know where I was but I didn't like it.

I wanted to escape and runaway .
While I was putting clothes into the washing machine I noticed that we were only girls here no boys then I remember nick.
I frost in my spot after everything that happened I forgot about nick.
One of the women saw I was frozen and hit me on my back with one of those wooden sticks.

After that the day went quiet and the same but now I was folding those clothes and then putting them away.

I was back inside my room and looking though by bag and found my phone.
I had a way to get it nick.
Maybe he can get me out if here.
Just as I was turn it on I heard someone come and i hid my phone under my sleeve.
Emily taught me that so the teacher at school didn't see you had your phone on you.
I didn't  want them taking it away.
I didn't want them to take the only chance I had of getting out of this place.
The door open and it was the man and another women beside him.

" I'm the head of this facility Mr. Wills  you may call me head master or sir nothing else"
I said " yes sir"
He then continued " This is Mrs Betty , she is second in command"
He then left  us together.

She had 3 books in her hand .and a pencil
She gave them to me and said " do you know how to read and write"
" yes Mrs Betty ."
" never ever call me by my name call me madam and other in this uniform madam "she then said " start doing the exercise in the books you will have class tomorrow "

She then left and I open the book and one was a bible and another was a book with question in it.

I looked at one and it was  .. how do you feel in this Moment in time.
I took the pencil and in the small line I wrote trapped with no way out.

My phone buzzed in my sleeve and I  looked at it I had 26 Miss calls from nick and lily and 15 texted from them as well.

I had 3 % left on my phone and I sent nick a text of what happen and where I am .. well I don't know where I am really so I told him every detail I could about it how the head master is mr wills and how it's all girls and the  older women hit us and to get me out.

Just as I pressed sent my phone went dead.
I didn't know if he got the text the room had one bar.
I just sat  down on the bed. . It wasn't the greatest but I just hope nick got my text and he knew where I was and he was on his was to get me and save me.
