My Brittle Barricade

Chapter 20

So I woke up In a a familiar bed.
I was in nick's bed.
I started to look around and I didn't see  anyone in the room so I started to walk to the door and down the stairs and I met Vic at the bottom.
" good morning " I said in a good happy mood
"mm " was all he said , his tone was dull and uninterested.

He was In a grumpy mood and just disappear upstairs.
I walked into the kitchen and felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me.
Is it weird that I knew it was nick behind me.
"Good morning "he said
" morning " I said back
I turned around and hugged him my tiny arms wrapping around his waist and his hand were just on my hips. I didn't want it let go, I wanted to remember this moment forever.

"Careful baby it seem like someone missed me" he said
I look up at him and said " and if I did miss you "
He just walked off and laugh.
Then something inside me just broke. Was it wrong that I wanted him to say that he missed me too.
He looked back at me  saw that something was wrong and he placed his hand on my face and kissed me.
And I felt a spark inside game go of and it was like Time just stopped moving

I looked down trying to hide my smile and noticed I wasn't  wearing this yesterday.
I looked at him confused and said " did you change me last night "
He laughed and walked off into a office room  and I followed him and continued to ask him " when did you change me , what else happen last night nick"
And of course he didn't answer he just sat down on a chair and had a smile on his face.
I was standing on the opposite side of the table and I  leaned over the table and placed both my hand on pages on the desk and looked him in the eyes and said " nick tell me what your dirty hands did to me last night."

He looked at me and still had that stupid smile on his face .
I knew he was hiding something.
He got up and lean close over to me no said " do you really want to know baby"

I thought for a minute and I didn't really want to know what happen last night.
It couldn't be that bad could it.
He wouldn't do anything to me when I'm asleep would he but it is nick I'm talking about he has got into bed with me before when I'm asleep.

I was still in his clothes so I walked out and up the stairs to lily room and she was on her phone and I walked in and said " I need clothes shoes and make up"
"Every girls wish list" she said and we just looked at each other and said " shopping"

I went In to her wardrobe and just put some a skinny jeans and a black t-shirt.
Then we went into nick car and drove off to the shopping mall.
I bought some nice shirts and skirts and of course jeans and lily made me get this lovely light blue dress. And a lot of makeup.
And yet again she managed to get both her brothers card so all of this was on them.
I used nicks card while she used vic's

We were in the middle of the mall and looking at a makeup stand and her phone went off.
She had a shocked look on her face and just said " grab your stuff we need to go now "
I kind of had a weird confused questing look on my face but I did as she said and followed her out of the shops and then we ran to the car.

My mind was racing of what was going on And i keep asking her has something bad happen , but she never gave me and answer to any of my questions.
We were in the car now and nick kept ringing my phone and lily told me " don't answer it "
She then took my phone and put it in her pocket.
I started to panic now my hand were shaking and I just felt sick on the inside.

Lily stop the car outside this house and told me to stay In the car.
I promised her I would and she ran into the house and I was looking around the streets and there was a lot of people around nothing bad could happen but something inside me was telling me that these aren't good people they were all looking at me and I felt unsafe.

There was about 8 people across the street from me and I think 3 of them were about to walk my way and my finger found the lock button for the car and I was hesitating not to press it lily will come out soon and we will leave and I can go back to nick and hide in his arms and fell safe.
I was beyond scared these boys were making there way to the car very slowly and they didn't look like the friendly type and lily wasn't out of that house and then I heard a buzzing sound.

I tried to find out where it was coming from and lily didn't take my phone with her my phone was in the floor of the car.
I grabbed in and nick was ringing me and I answered it.
He sounded angry and like he was busy with something , I said that I didn't know where I was but lily went into this house and hasn't come out yet and that there are these boy that look trouble.

Then Vic came out of the house and grabbing Lily's arm.
She looked like she was angry at him and he didn't look happy either.
But I've never seen him happy.

Those boys that were making their way to the car just ran off down the street and disappear down side roads.

He got to the car and saw me in the front and then he started to talk to lily and the conversation that they were having didn't look nice.
He grabbed her arm and push her in the back seat and then got into the driver seat and he drove us home.
Let's just say that car ride was silent and I wanted to be in the back with lily and when we got to the house I felt safe when I saw nick at the door but he didn't look happy.
