Chapter 2

After taking and eating one of my mom's mouthwatering meals, I headed back to my room.
If you haven't noticed, I like to be alone most of the time and mostly be in my room.
I decided to check my phone for any new messages when I found a lot of messages and missed calls from Sam.
Oh God. I forgot that I left Sam at the canteen back in school. I wonder how angry she must be. I immediately called and just as it was about to hang up, she picked up.

"Hey Sa-"
"How could you just leave me in school without telling me" she cut me off.
"I'm sorry" I said honestly.
"Sorry? Sorry? Hell yeah you better be sorry." she said sounding really angry.
"Sam I-"
"God, I thought something awful happened to you. I thought maybe you got kidnapped? Or a dog bit you"

Seriously? A dog?

"Or you got hit by-"

"Sam!" I shouted getting her attention.

"What?!" She yelled back.

"I saw this really cute guy in school so I did not want to get involved in all that, and decided to leave, completely forgetting about you or my caramel popcorn. Well, mostly the caramel popcorn but I'm so sorry."

"Aright you're forgiven." she paused as if remembering something "Oh. My. Goodness. I cannot believe you called someone cute. This must be a miracle. Tell me all about it!"

I could hear the excitement in her voice .l rolled my eyes even though l knew she couldn't see me.
"You know I'm not like that Sam, so don't even waste a burning daylight."

"You are seriously no fun Emma."
"Whatever. You know you still love me." I said grinning.

"I know right. That's why we are besties for life."

"And evermore" I completed for her.

I know i'm kinda shaky but hey...i'm a newbie so don't be hard on me. And sorry for the short chapter. I am really busy with school and all but will try as much as i can to update early and write more.
