He bought us strawberry ice cream cones, dipped in chocolate and we ate them as we walked in the park.
He was quiet for a moment, a smile playing on his lips as he took another scoop of his ice cream and swallowed quietly. He hesitated before asking, "Are you allergic to anything?"
"No, not really." I paused. "Are you?"
"Nah." he chuckled.
We went on asking each other questions, sometimes serious, sometimes ridiculous. He asked a lot of inappropriate questions, but in his own goofy way.
We couldn't finish the ice creams and ended up throwing them out. He dragged me down with him on the grass with our hands still intertwined.
"I'm so stuffed I feel like a hippopotamus that ate an elephant." He patted his flat stomach.
I laughed trying to picture that. I couldn't remember the last time I laughed this much.
We laid down on the grass for a long time comfortable in our silence and just looking at the dark velvet sky. The place was magical and special.
That's was how Liam made me feel. I was nothing but a normal girl to other people, but to Liam...he made me feel magical and special just like the flowers that spread with abandon on the ground.
"Thank you for this night Liam." I whispered turning to my side so that I was facing him.
He was lying on his back but he turned his face towards me, his blue eyes intense. A smile flirting on his lips. "You deserve it."
Nobody had wanted me like this before. Not like Liam.
"Want to come back here again sometime...with me?" he asked."Yes Liam." I answered.
"Look at that, you're already falling for me."
I looked at him in shock.
He shrugged. "What? I didn't say the L word so don't run away screaming for the hills."
My eyes just got wider. He chuckled, pulling me so that I was standing right next to him.
"I'll wait for you, Emma. We have all the time in the world." He looked at me. "But when you say yes, I'll be right there faster than you can blink." He promised.
