Roxanna's POV
I was sat on the couch waiting for Sousuke to return from work, I twirled my phone in my hand waiting for the door to open, just on cue the door slammed open against the wall making me jump slightly, I got up and went to the door to see Sousuke's back as he was removing his shoes with the foulest mood, I sighed "Babe, what's wrong?" I asked as I kneeled behind him giving him a hug.

"The Jewels got away once again" he growled, I sighed resting my head on his left shoulder, "I'm sure you'll catch them next time" I say before kissing his neck, he let out a heavy sigh, "Come on" I say getting up and going back on to the couch, he threw himself down before laying down on my lap making me smile as I ran my hands threw his hair.

"Tell me everything" I say, he raised an eyebrow looking up at me, "You say the same thing every night. Does it not bore you?" He asked, I shook my head "No, it reminds me of the cops and robbers game me, you and Rin played when we was younger" I say, he chuckled "My little robber" he said making me smile.

I leant down and kissed him "My cop" I say making him smile, "Now tell me everything" I say making him chuckle rolling his eyes, "So we call the Jewels leader, Ruby because she leaves a Ruby at every one of her crime scenes and when we've seen her we've noticed that she wears a ruby on a gold band along with a red mask" he explained, I raised an eyebrow "Why've you stopped?" I asked, he shook his head "It just reminded me of what you did at your 'crime scenes'" he said, my eyes widened and I laughed, "So you're saying this Ruby is stealing my style" I say making him chuckle.

"She started out small by robbing small banks by herself, then she got herself a group that we came to call 'The Jewels' since they all left a Jewel of some kind at the scenes. That's when the killing began, though we doubt it's the Ruby who does the killing since she never did it in her previous jobs" he explained, "So she's not as bad as you thought. She just robs" I say, he shrugged "I guess you could say that. She still needs to be stopped though" he said and I nodded.

He was going to continue when both of our phones rang, we answered it, "Yeah" I answered as got up and went into the kitchen, "Ruby, we've got leverage!" Diamond yelled, I sighed leaning against the counter, "And what do you mean by that?" I asked, "What do you think?" Diamond said, "Sapphire, leave her alone!" I heard Emerald yell in the background, "Buzzkill!" Sapphire yelled, "I have no idea" I say, "Well we've managed to get Captain Matsuoka's baby sister" she said letting out a laugh.

My eyes widened before I noticed Sousuke out of the corner of my eye, I sighed "I'll be there soon" I say before hanging up, "Work called, Maria bailed on her shift so I'm covering" I lied, he nodded "The Jewels have managed to kidnap Gōu" he said, my eyes widened "That's it I'm not going into work-" "No go. We've already managed to locate her" he said, I sighed and kissed him "Don't forget this isn't the game we played as kids" I say pulling away, he nodded "I know. I love you" he said before leaving through the front door.

I arrived in the warehouse through the back entrance, "The cops have already locked on to her location so let's get out of here!" Emerald yelled, I rolled my eyes "And leave our leverage, not likely!" Sapphire snapped back, "Enough!" I yelled making them all look towards me, "Ruby!" Diamond yelled as she came over to me, I walked towards Gōu who had a blindfold on, I put my finger under her chin tilting upwards "So this is the Captains sister?" I asked, she pulled her head away from me.

"When my brother finds you, he'll kill you all" she threatened, Sapphire chuckled "Who's says he's going to find us?" She taunted, I rolled my eyes before the doors burst open and we was surrounded by SWAT and officers, I untied Gōu and stood her up, "Gōu, are you alright?!" Rin yelled, "Yeah" she said, Sapphire scoffed "Not for long" she said before aiming the gun at me and Gōu and firing, I threw Gōu to the floor as I covered her, since the SWAT fired killing/seriously injuring the others.

Gōu's blindfold came off as she stared at me, "You saved me?" She said but it came out as a question, I nodded and smiled "Can't allow the Captains sister to die" I say giving a light chuckle off before I was pulled to my feet, I was turned around by Sousuke, "Ruby, you're under arrest, anything you say or do will be used against you in the court" Sousuke said as he cuffed me before standing in front of me as Rin and Gōu came over to me, Sapphire was moving extremely slowly towards her gun, I rolled my eyes as she picked it up and aimed towards Sousuke.

My eyes widened before I shoved him to the ground as she fired, I fell to the floor before she was pinned down and her gun removed, "You saved me!?" Sousuke asked as he hovered over me holding the wound, "It's not like the game we played as kids" I say, his eyes widened before I removed my mask making them all gasp, "Roxanna" he said as tears made an appearance, I smiled "The one and only" I say chuckling.

"Why?" He asked, I smiled and wiped away a tear that had fallen, "Because they would of killed you if I didn't" I say, "I can handle myself" he said being stubborn, I rolled my eyes "Of course" I say, it fell quiet between us, I looked up to Rin and Gōu, "Just so you know I had nothing to do with Gōu's kidnapping" I say to Rin, he nodded "I know" he said and I smiled, "Sousuke, I love you" I say.
