Faith's POV
I was laid in bed when the nurse came in, "Morning Officer" she smiled as she set down my breakfast before opening the curtains making me squint at the brightness, she checked me over before handing me the food and leaving the room, I sighed, I'm in here since the last case I was on, I was shot just above my right knee, messing up the whole coordination of my ability of walking, I had just got off bedrest yesterday so I'm allowed to walk around with crutches, I finished my breakfast so I set the tray at the bottom of my bed before looking around for my crutches.

They were next to the door making me roll my eyes before I stood leant against my bed, I heard gunshots making my eyes widened then muffled shouting, I made my way over to the crutches, I got them just as the nurse ran in, "They're a group of men here for you" she said, "Where's the closest phone?" I asked, "Down the corridor to the right" she said, I nodded before opening the door, one of the masked men walked past making me smirk as they turned around, I hit them in the face, knocking them over the nurse dragged him into the room and closed the door, I made sure he was unconscious as I removed his gun before tying him up against the bed.

"Stay here" I ordered, she shook her head "You're my patient meaning you're my responsibility" she said, I sighed and nodded "Fine, but you'll follow my orders, understood?" I say, she nodded and opened the door, I handed her one of my crutches as I held the gun in the spare hand and checked to see if it was clear, "Right move" I say, she lead me to the phone, I called Sousuke, it rang a couple of times before he picked up, "Hello?" He answered, "Sousuke, I'm in a spot of trouble" I say, "Faith what do you mean by trouble?" He asked, "They're a group of men at the hospital for me. And I'm pretty sure their not here to take me home" I say, the nurse was waving her hand making me raise an eyebrow, she mentioned that four men were coming down the hall, "We'll be there soon. Stay on the phone to-" "No can do. I've got to move" I say before I hung up.

We had been hidden for a solid 30minutes, the police sirens arrived 15minutes ago and I think they weren't moving until they knew all the civilians were out of harms way, footsteps past us "She's not on floor 6" someone said over the radio, my eyes widened before I stood up and strangled the guy pulling him into the cover, I removed his radio "I need you to go to the entrance so the police know that it's safe to enter the building" I say, she went to object but I glared at her, she nodded and made her way, "This is Officer Faith Gutierrez, I'm on the fifth floor" I say into the radio, "How do we know you're not lying?" Someone asked, "I will let off two gunshots as to my location" I say, "Go on" they replied, I shot two bullets into the unconscious guys leg, "Everyone move to her" Someone ordered, I rolled my eyes at how stupid they were.

"C'mon Officer Faith. We've got you surrounded" someone called out, "If you thought I was going down that easily, then think again" I say before shooting at them, I took down three leaving two, I ran out of bullets making me mentally curse as I set it down and hid in the cover, they both came over to me a chuckled as one put their foot on my right knee making me bite my lip to hold in the yelp of pain, "Drop your weapons! Put your hands up and back away!" Sousuke yelled, I sighed, one of them did but the other leaned closer to me adding extra pressure on my knee, I groaned in pain, "If I'm going down, so are you" he said, I grabbed one of the crutches and smacked him around the face, knocking him over, Sousuke ran over and kicked the gun away from him as he pulled him to his feet and cuffed him and his friend, he helped me up and past me the crutches before we walked out of the building with the men.

Two other officers came and took the men, seconds later Sousuke pulled me into a bone crushing hug, I smile and hugged him back dropping my crutches, he pulled away and the nurse came over "Well after seeing what you're capable without crutches, it's safe for you to be discharged" she said, "Thank you" I say, she nodded left, "So can I come back to work?" I asked Sousuke, he scoffed "No, you're staying at home until you can move faster" he said, I rolled my eyes, "I'll also get Gōu to check on you daily" he said as we went over to the car, "I thought I showed that I'm quite capable of taking care of myself" I say, he chuckled and placed a kiss on my lips, "You were pretty badass" he said making me smile.
