Leona's POV
I was sat on top of my father's stone, "Riley's gone to grandmas so he's safe from Mama" I say as tears formed in my eyes, I shook my head as I hung it low, "I miss you papa. I want you back" I sobbed, "Leona?" Someone asked, I lifted my head and saw Rin stood there, I jumped off the stone and he gave me a hug, which I happily accepted, he pulled away, wiped my tears away before frowning, "What's wrong?" I asked, "I'm leaving for Australia" he said, "Best friends forever, right?" I say putting my pinky finger up, he smiled and nodded wrapping his pinky finger around mine before he began to walk away, "I promise we'll meet again" he said as he turned around smiling, I nodded "I'll look forward to it" I smiled.

I dropped Riley off at my Grandma's, "Are you not coming in?" He asked, I shook my head "Aw Granny always says how she misses seeing you" he said pulling my hand, I sighed "I'll stay for 5minutes, I've got art homework to do" I say, he smiled and cheered as he dragged me inside, "Granny! Look who's here!" Riley yelled as he dragged me into the front room, "Leona, darling" she said as she got up, I gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek, "Hello Grandma" I say, "Do you want anything to eat? Drink?" She asked, I shook my head "No thank you. I need to get home and finished my art" I say, she smiled "It's nice to know you're still continuing with your art" she said, I nodded, I stopped doing a lot of things I used to do, the only things I've continue to do is art and swimming, "I'll pick Riley up the same time tomorrow" I say as I kiss her cheek, I ruffled Riley's hair up "Behave and do your homework" I say before leaving.

I arrived home and went into the front room, my mother was passed out on the couch, I rolled my eyes no surprise I covered her up before cleaning up the empty bottles up before going up into my room, I threw myself on my bed and knocked over something that was on my desk, I sat up and saw that it was a picture frame, I picked it up, it was a picture of me, Gōu, Sousuke and Rin, I sighed and set it back on the side, it's been ten years since he left for Australia, my door slammed open making me jump and my mother stumbled in, I sighed standing up and helped her up to her bed, "I'm sorry, I will stop" she said as I covered her up, I left the room and got my bag before leaving the house and left.

I arrived at my father's stone and sat at the side of it as I leant against it, I pulled out my sketchbook and began to draw, someone walked past me but I just ignored them, then someone cleared their throat making me look up and saw two red heads looking down at me, "You know that's someone's stone right" the male said, I scoffed putting my sketchbook away and stood up, "Obviously since it's my father's" I snap before walking away, "Leona?" They both said, I turned raising an eyebrow "Yes?" I say, they both smiled before the girl tackled me with a hug making me tense up, "Gōu ease up" the male said, my eyes widened as she pulled away, I nodded "Took your time to return from Australia didn't you?" I say, Rin rubbed the back of his neck, I sighed and left them.

I arrived at work and saw Makoto already setting up, "Always early, Tachibana" I call over as I set my stuff down on the chair, he looked over and smiled, I stripped down into my swimsuit before helping him set up, I heard the laughter and chatter of the children we teach, "Hello Leona!" The girls yelled, I nodded "Hello, so you guys ready to dive in?" I asked as they approached the edge, they nodded before one-by-one diving in, "Right, out you hop. If you're wanting to become professional swimmers you've got to have a perfect dive in" I say, they all climbed out as I approached the diving step.

It was the end of the lesson and the kids were getting changed when Kisumi arrived with Rin, I rolled my eyes and went over to them, "Leona!" Kisumi yelled as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders, I sighed before stealing his basketball and keeping it out of his grips, "Onii-chan" Hayato said distracting me allowing Kisumi to hit the basketball out of my grips and hit Hayato in the face making him stumble backwards and fall into the pool, "Hayato!" Kisumi yelled as I dove in to get him, I brought him to the surface and to the side where Rin and Kisumi pulled him out, "Hayato I'm sorry" Kisumi said as Hayato came around, "I hate you" Hayato said making me chuckle as I got out of the pool with his stuff.

"See you next week Leona" Kisumi said as he and Hayato spilt away from me and Rin, I waved "So what's between you and Kisumi?" Rin asked as we continued to walk, I raised an eyebrow "I teach his brother along with Makoto and he's a friend. Why?" I ask, he just hummed making my jaw clench, "Don't just hum at me, Matsuoka!" I snap stopping, he stopped and turned to me, "You disappeared to Australia for 10years! Then didn't contact me in anyway! I thought we were best friends!" I yelled as my fists clenched, "Leona, I-" "I don't want to hear it! I've done perfectly fine for the past 10years and I don't need you" I say before barging past him and speed walking home.

I arrived and slammed the door shut, "What's wrong?" My mother asked as she popped her head around the corner, "What a surprise, your sober" I say as I stormed upstairs, "I'm trying! You know how hard it has been since your father died!" She yelled, my fist hit the wall at the side of me, "I know! I've made sure that Riley hasn't seen this side of you! He's just been wanting his mother back!" I snap, her eyes widened as she dropped her head and I sighed throwing my bag into my room before storming back out of the house to calm down.

I was curled up next to my father's stone as I cried, "I need you back, papa" I sobbed as I kept my eyes closed, "Leona?" Someone asked, I looked up and saw Rin, I stood up and he gave me a hug, which I happily accepted, he pulled away and wiped my tears as he cupped my face and frowned, "What?" I asked, "The light that was in your eyes as a child has gone" he said, I chuckled before he began to lean in, I froze in place as his lips touched mine, I then began to kiss back as my hands made my way to the back of his head and his hands made their way down to my hips before he pulled me in closer, he pulled away and smiled "Best friends forever?" I asked as I held my pinky up, he chuckled "Better. Best couple forever" he said hooking his pinky around mine making me genuinely smile, "There's that light" he said as he planted a kiss on my head.
