~how I go into Anime~
Me: that's a cool picture on your binder! It's a cute blue cat!
Friend: thanks!
Me: Is he off of something?
Friend: Yeah! He's my favorite character off of an anime called Fairy Tail!
Me: Anime?
Friend: Its basically Japanese cartoons, you should try it sometime.
Me: Okay, can you explain what this show is about?
Fiend: It's about a wizard named Lucy-
Me: *imagines a witch*
Friend: And she's trying to get into these things called guilds
Me: *Imagines witch trying to get into a galaxy*
Friend: It's hard to explain but it's on Netflix
Me: I don't have Netflix
Friend: then go on YouTube
Me: *goes home and the video is age restricted*
Me: Dad can we get a Netflix account?
Dad: Maybe
(We get Netflix)
Me: all of these animes... they look horrible...
*watches my bride is a mermaid*
Me: Holy shit that was amazing...
*watches fairy tail*
Me: aw.... it ended... but why on a cliff hanger
*goes onto internet and finds kissanime*
And that is how I got into anime
BONUS! How I got into miraculous ladybug (just a story I wanna share)
~last year in art~
Me: *sees girl sitting next to me's tablet lock screen who I'll call weird girl* OMG is that word girl!?!
Weird girl: No it's Becky
Me: Oh right! I forgot her actual name, but aren't they the same person?
Weird girl: Yeah, her name is just Becky.
Me: oh okay
So then for the rest of the semester we were kinda friends but I found out that she watched kid shows and was a VERY lonely girl. She literally texted herself and her "teammates" who were people from miles from tomorrow land (a cartoon). Then descendants came out and she called herself Mal for a while and then changed it to Owlette (I think that's another cartoon) but I still called her by her real name and she kept reminding me about it but I found it weird so she just let me because we were best friends (to her). And let's just skip second semester of last year because that was basically nothing except for me feeling a bit more alone.
So then this year came and it was alright you all that. Then second semester came and my seventh period changed to Mr. Parker (im pretty sure he doesn't mind I'm using his name because I mean he has a YouTube channel for crying out loud) so I went to his blog, found his YouTube channel, clicked on one of his videos which had a surprising amount of views and went to the comment section to find.... the weird girl, even saying it was her.
I clicked on her channel and watched some of her videos and she has a "me" video and it was nothing but ladybug... and then she had another video of the miraculous ladybug theme song sing along and the quality was horrible so I went to a real video of it and in the comment section of THAT video was "I thought it was such a kid show and now I'm obsessed"
And then this went down
Me to sister: Hey I saw you were watching something about this one day, do you mind telling me what it is?
Sister: it's a really cool show!
Me: have you seen all of it?
Sister: no but I want to!
Me: so do you wanna watch it together?
Sister: YYEEEESSS!!!
We ended up binge watching it the weekend and idk why but I took her word for it being really good but it turned out that I became obsessed with the show
I know I haven't been updating recently like I used to, it's just that anxiety is getting to me. I think I'm just annoying you guys who actually read this because this book is mostly story time like, and if you guys really know me I apologize for the simplest things like talking about something personal because I feel like that just gets annoying.
