Zircon roamed the grass plain, running her hand along the silky substance. The wind howled causing a rippling effect in the grass, she sighed out softly. "Hmm" She hummed softly, admiring the blades of grass. "This planet is... interesting..." She spoke to herself, the warp pad a few feet behind her activating. She didn't care as she bent over plucking a few blades, a chartreuse gem stepped out from the pad. She was decorated in a sea-green lab coat, her seeming long emerald hair held into a tight bun a viser currently activated as she documented her arrival. She held the rim of the viser to adjust it, scribbling down something in the hologram as she then noticed the figure out in the distance then disabling the hologram.

"Hello?" She called out, her voice soft and smooth. "Are you a Gem?" She questioned the figure, not knowing what the inhabitants of this planet where to look like.

Zircon turned toward the Gem, narrowing her eyes to try an make out the individual better. "Yeah." She called out, walking toward the warp pad. Zircon stared blankly at the gem who was about six inches shorter than her, she took note of the gem's face. "Who are you? And what are you doing out here?" She questioned the chartreuse colored gem.

The gem stood tall, looking up at Zircon. "I am Chrysoberyl, facet 1977, cut 0902." She stated bluntly. "And I am here to collect data on this planet, to see where the best ground is to grow more gem, and to sco-"

"So, you're a nerd?" Zircon butted in, sighing as she looked out to the plain once again. "How boring, don't you ever get tired of doing that junk over and over and over?" She asked, looking to the Chrysoberyl's eyes through her sea-foam blue visor.

Chrysoberyl thought for a moment, then spoke cautiously. "Do you ever get tired of fighting?"

Zircon grinned as she spoke coolly. "No, because it's different every time. Everyone has their own fighting style, and they all vary in strength, so it keeps me entertained on how hard they'll try to defeat me." Zircon's grin grew into a spin tingling one as she chuckled darkly, Chrysoberyl watched curiously as her expression changed, taking note about how she liked to brag.

"Well, it is the same for me as well. Each planet we colonized has it's own specialties, like the last planet was great for planting Lapis Lazulis and Bismuths, yet it wasn't the best for quartz soldiers due to the la-"

Zircon held up her hands and exclaimed. "Woah! You need to slow your roll. I don't care." She lowered her hands. "I only care about one thing." Zircon started.

Chrysoberyl sighed softly, not very found of this Gem already. "And what would that be?" Chrysoberyl asked, reluctantly.

"Fighting." Zircon stated.

"Well, that sounds fun." Chrysoberyl said in a unenthusiastic tone, clearly irritated at the Zircon before her.

Zircon gave a scoff as she pushed past the gem, activating the warp pad. "Well have fun nerd." Zircon said as she warped away.

Chrysoberyl  sighed in discontent as the murmured. "Such a brute..."
