The next 30 years flew by fast, the building of arenas, spire, and another kindergarten had finished. White and Yellow Diamond had entrusted Zircon in training another two gems to become gem reapers. Yellow had entrusted a Tiger Eye to Zircon, it was an exotic gem, only able to grow on a single plant thus far. It was a rather odd gem, similar to the rather recently discovered humans they had tan skin tones, their hair was typically black fading into an orange nearing the tips. They were used as a last resort if many Quartz soldiers had been shattered or poofed. They were highly resistant and hard to poof. White had given Zircon a rare gem, White Gold. Gold was a rather common in the society, they were mostly for transferring resources from planet to planet so that bismuth could construct buildings, but White Gold was used for combat, much like assassins. They are very secretive, used for jobs that the diamonds didn't want anyone to know about. They didn't talk much and have a silver body suit, with a white mask to cover their faces. Their cream yellow skin hardly showing, only the slits in the mask showed their eyes and mouth.

These two gems learned quickly and obeyed every order Zircon gave. The all lived rather harmoniously with the few 'incidences' with Pip. These four soon became a force to be reconded with, they were the Reaper Squad. The missions in which these four were sent on were all successful. They were methodical, each had a purpose. Zircon was in charge of taking out leaders, the head of whatever they were meant to infiltrate. Tiger (Tiger Eye) and Pip were used to gather the lower gems, Pip would use her weapon to encompass them and hold them down. Tiger was essentially a tank, Pip was very easy to poof and Tiger tended to take the hits for her, though she could hold her own with a pair of claw-like gauntlets that encompassed her knuckles. Nicky (White Gold) was in charge of rounding up anyone who managed to escape and deal with them in whatever way she saw fit.  She would usually hunt them and toy with them a bit, using her spears she would throw them at the target and watch them dodge and such. She would only do it if it was a single run away two or more and the would quickly dispose of them.

The four would usually go their separate ways after missions, but Pip would often tag along with others. Invading personal space, and interfering with their rather tamed lives. Though, Zircon was one she would bother constantly.

Pip had caught Zircon in a rather private conversation with herself. She was discussing a gem she refused to name while staring at a turquoise stone she had pulled from her belt. She was rather incoherent with her sentences. She would sit somewhere off the Court and begin to chat to herself.

"How many years has it been?"

"What could I have done to find you?"

"Are you still alive?"

"What have you done to me?"

"Why aren't you here...?"

A brief moment passed, Pip thought she was done until she jumped hearing Zircon exclaim.

"WHY AREN'T YOU HERE!? Where did you go.... Was I really that awful..?" Pip peaked over the object she hid behind to see a rather odd sight. Zircon was in a fetal position, the stone hanging loosely from her hands as she looked at it through her hair. "Why?" A pause, followed by s sniffle. "WHY THE HELL DID YOU LEAVE!" Zircon's voice boomed. She jolted up and throw the stone into the ground. It made its way into the ground as Zircon stood alone. Her hair covering her face, as she seemed to be looking down. Her fists clenched tightly by her side. "What the hell." She said quietly. "Why? Why can't I get her out of my head?" She bent over and gently caressed the stone as if it was another's cheek. "Why.." Pip quickly left, fearing Zircon would look up soon. She walked far away from the scene, replaying those images over and over again.

"Who is she talking about? Why is she so riled up?" Pip stopped dead in her tracks as she heard a loud boom followed by screaming. "What?!" She scurried to the source, and there she saw it. There, where Pink Diamond usually sits was no one. Everyone was scattering away from the hall. Pip could only see one thing. There in Pink Diamond's palanquin was shards.
