Chapter Seventeen
~Niall's POV~
"Ughhhh," I groaned. I was still so tired. I couldn't believe it was already morning. It felt like I had only been asleep for ten minutes. The light coming in through the windows was so bright I had to use my hand to shield my eyes.
"Niall. Niall. Come on, time to get up," I heard someone say, though I couldn't distinguish who. I rolled onto my side and saw a tired Liam shaking me awake.
"No Liam!" I yelled. "I don't want to!" I rolled back onto my other side and threw the covers over my head. I heard Liam sigh and knew I had won. He had just woken up as well so he was in no mood to argue and fight with me.
"Fine, sleep more. But don't come looking to me for help when you have no idea what you are supposed to be doing today!" he called as started slowly walking away. I knew he was right, unfortunately. We all had stuff we had to do before the show that night. Some of us had to do some shots for the documentary. Sometimes we had interviews or meetings.
I pulled myself out of my bunk and stumbled my way over to Liam. "What do we have planned for today?" I asked him, groggily.
"Well, Zayn, Louis, and I have to do some things for the movie. So that means you and Harry will be in charge of-" he said before I interrupted him.
"Me and Harry? In charge of something? You're kidding right?" I asked, laughing hysterically. No one ever trusts us with anything, and I mean anything.
"I know, I was surprised too, but this seems fairly simple. All you and Harry have to do is show the boys from Five Seconds of Summer around the venue and stuff like that. Oh, and get them to our group interview on time," he explained.
I was speechless. They wanted me to show the guys around. They all knew how I felt about Luke. Before I could protest, Liam said to me, "Look, I know you and Luke have your problems, but we really need someone to do this. Plus, we are gonna be working with them for a while, so you guys are going to have to learn to get along. For today, have Harry help Luke and you can talk with the rest of the boys."
I guess he was right, as always. Liam has always been and probably always will be the responsible one of the group. Always level headed and problem solving. "I guess I can do that," I told him and relief spread across his face. "I like the other boys, they seem pretty cool to get to know."
"Thanks Niall. Now you better start getting ready to go, the boys will be here any minute," he stated and stepped off the tour bus. I looked out the window and saw we were already at the hotel management had booked for us. They insisted on it even though we slept on the tour bus every night, no matter what.
I made my way over to my suitcase. I looked inside and randomly chose a pair of jeans and a shirt. I didn't feel like doing my hair so I grabbed a snapback too. I quickly changed into my clothes and ran my hands through my hair trying to get it to lay right. After deciding it looked fine, I put on the snapback, my shoes and was out the door.
Once off the bus I was welcomed by the bright sunlight and four confused and nervous looking boys. Out of them all, Luke looked the most nervous and kept checking his phone. "Hey guys," I said, putting a smile on my face. "While Liam, Louis and Zayn do some stuff for the movie, Harry and I will be showing you around the arena and stuff like that. Then at three o'clock we have a interview we all have to go to." As soon as I finished talking, Harry came out of the hotel and walked over to us.
"Let's get going!" he yelled and hopped on the bus.
"Paul!" I called. We needed someone to go with us. The venue was gonna be crazy; surrounded by tons of screaming fans that would do anything to get to us. Somedays it was really cool to see them all, others it got really overwhelming and dangerous. "We need to go the to venue! Someone come with us!" I yelled again. This time I caught Paul's attention and he hopped on the bus. I guess he was leaving Preston and Alberto witht the others.
