Riley's POV

The drive to James' uncle's house was pretty long. I dozed off a couple times and always woke up to James with a smile on his face and his cheesy line "Morning, beautiful." You just gotta love him.

James' POV

When we finally arrived at my uncle's house, Riley was fast asleep in the passenger seat. Even asleep, she looked like an angel. I smiled to my self and just stared at her for a few minutes, before I got out and brought all our bags out of the car. I miraculously carried all the bags to the front door, where I got the key from under the placemat and unlocked the door. I didn't really feel like bringing them upstairs so I left them by the door. I walked back to the car and carefully opened Riley's door. I unbuckled her seatbelt, and managed to lift her up and carry her bridal style. Her head fell against my chest, and she clutched my shirt while burying her head in my chest. I brought her into the house and carried her up the stairs to the master bedroom.

Luckily, the room had two beds, rather than one. It would have gotten sooo awkward if we had to share a bed. Anyways, I pulled back the covers, lay Riley on the bed, took off her shoes, and covered her again. I was feeling pretty tired myself so I claimed into the bed opposite of my girlfriend's. I looked at her one last time before falling into my own slumber with only one thought.

This is our new life.
