My mind wanders while I stack shelves full of new products. It’s only Monday and I’m tired as hell. I didn’t get much sleep last night because I stayed up filtering and fixing all the photos I took. The ones of the kids in the trees and the boys playing soccer came up really good. I’m actually pretty happy with them. But I also didn’t get sleep because my mind kept drifting over to Harry. I don’t know why I’m having such sudden interest in him, but something about him makes me want to learn more. Break down those walls he has strongly put up. I hardly know him, all I know is he’s a mean jerk. But I can see another side that shines through sometimes. A nice side? I’m not too sure though, because it’s hard to keep up with him. When the nice side shines through it’s like he covers it immediately and turns into the jerk.

I want to stop thinking about it, stop thinking about him but my mind’s playing tricks on me and he keeps swirling through my thoughts. I need a distraction and work clearly isn’t doing it.

“Hey Harmony!” Lea squeals walking over to where I’m stacking the shelves by myself.

“Hey Lea.” I reply hanging a blue laced bra onto the rack.

“How was your weekend?” She asks pulling stuff out of the box and hanging them up.

“It was alright I guess. What about you?”

“Great actually!” She smiles and I turn to look at her beaming face.

“Why so great?”

“Jack took me on a really romantic date.” She tells me a huge smile plastered over her face.

“That’s so cute!” I squeal equally excited as her.

“It was really nice.” She smiles as she continues to stack the shelves with me. I see Roxy in the corner of my eye serving people at the counter. It’s again not too busy in the shop today because it’s a Monday. But we still have a few customers.

Lea and I stack in silence trying to empty the box as quick as possible. After a few minutes of relaxing silence I though pops into my head.

“Can I ask you a question?” I blurt out, filling the silence.

“Yeah, shoot.”

“What can you tell me about Harry?” I ask wanting to know more about him.

“Why Harmony?” She says raising an eyebrow at me.

“I am just curious.” I admit grabbing the last item out of the box.

“Well…. He has been working here for a while. Nearly as long as me. He has always been a flirt, that’s why he still has his job here because he flirts with his boss. He would have been fired if not, because he does literally nothing around here.  He has always been a bit of a jerk too. His known for not giving a shit about anyone or anyone’s feelings. He uses girls, he flirts with them and says he loves them then just uses them. I don’t know much about his past or anything like that. Just what he’s like now. I didn’t give him the chance to get to me and use me because I know what he does. He’s bad news Harmony.” She sighs loudly at the end of her confession

Everything she said made sense, and sounded exactly what I thought Harry would be like. But why do I feel like something’s missing. One person cannot be so mean and not have one inch of niceness in him. He has to have another side, I have seen it come out a few times. Or is that just the flirting he does? He can’t have so much hate in him and have no love. Balance right? But if there’s no love there’s no balance. So how does his life work? Or where is he hiding his love?

“Harmony?” Lea’s worried voice snaps me out of my thoughts.

“Uh-yeah sorry.” I say shaking my head from all the thoughts about Harry.
