Tuesday and Wednesday go past quite quick and my nightmares have subsided for now. I haven’t had one since Sunday night, but I still feel on edge about them. Like they are going to come back any minute. I have had less sleep than I would like to have because I can’t stop thinking about them, and worrying about if they will come back. I probably look like shit, because the bags under my eyes are getting heavier and heavier and I look sleep deprived. I think people are starting to notice, because I have got a few sympathetic looks today.

“Alright, I’m leaving it’s 5.00pm.” Lea tells me as she walks towards the employee room.

“I’m just going to serve these last customers then I will head off.” I tell her as she pulls a confusing look when I don’t follow her.

“Alright, have a good weekend Harmony!”

“Aren’t you working tomorrow?” I ask her confused.

“I don’t work Friday’s remember?” She laughs. Oh yea, I remember because she wasn’t here last Friday either. She gives me a small wave before leaving me alone at the checkout.

I serve a few customers as the store is pretty busy tonight and I don’t want to leave Roxy to do it all. The line is growing behind the checkout and I rush to get the line finished.

“Have a good day miss.” I smile to the lady across the checkout and hand her shopping bag.

“Harmony, go home darling!” Roxy shouts at me as she walks over the checkout, with a small line waiting.

“I’m just going to serve the rest of these customers.” I tell her, scanning the next lady in lines items.

“Harmony its 5.20, go home silly.” She smiles at me before pushing me away from the counter and taking over.

“Fine.” I give up as she begins to fold the ladies items. “I will see you tomorrow!” I tell her as I begin to walk away to the employee room.

I’m glad to have Roxy as a manager, she is really understanding and caring towards me. I feel bad though for leaving her with a line full of customers, but she insisted I leave and she looks like she has it under control.

I take my handbag out of the employee room and swing it over my arm, landing on my shoulder. I begin to walk out the store when my eyes land on Harry who is still working at the counter. I thought he would be gone by now, considering he doesn’t do any work anyway. I shake off the feeling of wanting to go talk to him and walk outside to go to my car.

When I reach the car I search for my keys in my handbag. It’s almost impossible to find them through all of the stuff in there. I really need to clean my bag out. When I finally find them I unlock the car and slide in quickly.

I’m about halfway home when my car starts to make weird noises.

“No no no!” I yell at my car as it begins to slow down. I turn the wheel so I stop on the side of the road, instead of in the middle of traffic. When I hit the side of the road the car instantly stops.

“Crap.” I say hitting the steering wheel before leaning my head down on it. How am I supposed to get home with a broken car?

I jump out the car and go to the front of it to see if there’s anything specific that made it break down. Nothing. I don’t bother to pop the front boot open to check, because I have no idea what I will be looking at anyway. I pull my phone out of my pocket and search through my numbers trying to find someone to call.

Lea’s name is the first one that pops up so I click it instantly. The phone begins to ring and ring, but she doesn’t answer. Great. I scroll through my numbers again and Zayn’s name comes up. I call him this time but he doesn’t answer either. What is with people not answering their phones. What’s the point of having one if you’re not going to answer?!
