I sluggishly get out of bed when my alarm persuades me to get up. I didn’t sleep at all last night. The nightmare was to vivid for me to even think about closing my eyes again. Right when I thought they were going to leave again, they came right back.

I groan rubbing my tired, sore eyes and make my way into the bathroom. Slowly and sluggishly I jump into the shower, the hot water soothing my eyes.

Once I have dried myself and dressed myself in my black underwear I begin to do my hair. I don’t really have the energy to do much today so I just put a bit of mousse in it and let it fall down, with natural waves. I do my makeup to the best of my ability’s. It doesn’t look amazing and you can certainly still see my sleep deprived bags. But there’s only so much concealer can do.

After sluggishly getting my hair and makeup done I dress in a quite casual outfit. It’s casual Friday so I don’t really mind. I throw on my see through dotted shirt, leather jacket and ankle length black jeans. (Outfit on side)  I slide my silver locket around my neck and let it fall loosely onto my chest. The cold jewellery rubs against my skin, sending reminders of last night’s nightmare.  My outfit looks nice enough to hopefully distract people from my torn up face.

When I am ready I try to shove food down my throat, but my appetite has just disappeared. I don’t even bother to try and force anymore down me, because I know I will just end up vomiting it all. I check the time and its 1 minute until I have to meet Drake.  I wonder what he will think of my horrible appearance. I wonder what anyone will think. All I can say is lucky it’s Friday.

I grab all my stuff and put my sun glasses over my eyes, blocking the prominent bags. I slide on my hot pink heals before heading into the corridor to meet Drake. I jump when I see him leaning against the wall opposite my door with keys in his hand ready.

“Morning sunshine.” He smiles, pulling his body off the wall. I hardly know Drake, but I can already feel good vibes about him.

“Good morning Drake.” I groan, knowing there’s nothing good about it.

“Oh, it’s not that early.” He mocks me as we walk towards the elevator together.

“Sorry, I didn’t sleep very well.” I tell him rubbing under my sun glasses, on my eyes.

“And you still manage to look beautiful.” He smiles as we step into the elevator. I feel red rise to my cheeks as the doors close behind us.

“Thanks Drake.” I laugh. He is definitely very sweet to me.

We ride down the elevator in silence before stepping out into the lobby.

“Morning Harmony,” Hamish beams as soon as I step out of the elevator. His smile lights the room until his eyes land on Drakes. His smile quickly folds into a deep frown.

“Morning Hamish.” I say quietly studying the now death stare he is sending towards Drake.

“Drake.” Hamish says sternly, not looking back at me.

“Hamish.” Drake repeats, a small smirk playing on his lips. “Let’s go Harmony.” Drake says leading the way out of the Lobby.

I wave a small goodbye to Hamish as he watched us intently exiting the lobby.

“What was that all about?” I ask Drake as we walk to the small parking lot where all our cars are parked.

“He hates me.” He laughs, twisting the keys in his hands.

“What did you do?”

“Why do you think I did something?” He asks turning to look at me, eyebrow raised.
