twenty-seven days.

fifty-seven minutes.

nineteen seconds.

you miss yanan so much.

counting numbers was only something you would do in maths. now you've made it an addiction.

you remember the last words he said.

"stay happy (y/n), you deserve more than me."

of course, you couldn't stay happy. the guy you loved for four years just left you in less than a minute.

you heard the doorbell. it was your neighbour, shinwon.

"can i come in?"

he asks politely.

"sure, why not,"

you answer and sigh deeply.

he sits on your couch when you go to the kitchen for a glass of water.

"is everything okay?"

he asks, clearly knowing the answer.

"it's perfect, don't worry,"

you responded, avoiding eye contact.

he raised his eyebrow and questioned your look. he took out his phone and made a few texts.

after a while, shinwon decided to go back and you were lonely again.

all lonely, again.

being bored, you decided to watch some television. everything was about couples, dating, and love.

you were just sick of it.

slowly you dragged your tired body into your bedroom to have some rest. closing your two eyes and thinking of the past happy thoughts.

tomorrow would be a good day.

ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ♡

your eyes were opened and there was a loud knock on the door.

your hair a mess, your make up a mess, your outfit a mess, and you walked downstairs and opened the door, looking like a mess.

out of all the people in the world, the one time you looked horrible, it had to be him, yanan.

he laughed a bit at first and handed you a bouquet of roses.

you thanked him and welcome him in.
quickly, you change and put your hair into a messy bun as you washed your face.

coming back downstairs, you saw him look around the house.

"hey (y/n)!"

he says and smiles.

"hey yanan."

you reply and there's silence.

"(y/n), i'm not going to go around the bush."

he says and looks at you.

"i missed you, a lot."

"every day i would think of you, every night i would think of you, you were just everything i thought about."

you were slightly teary now. this is who you fell for.

"so (y/n),"

he looks deeply into your eyes.

"can we start again?"
