Chapter 24

Luke handed Lorelai a blindfold half way to Stars Hollow. She looked at it and laughed.

"You're kidding me right?" Lorelai held up the blindfold.

"No, Lorelai when have ever kidded you?" Luke said seriously.

"Luke, I am not putting this on! It's not happening!" Lorelai became serious.

"Listen, I'm just a pawn in this elaborate scheme. You either put the blind fold on or there is going to be a car up ahead that will make us stop, and do it for you." Luke said, feeling very amused.

"What scheme? What are you talking about?" Lorelai said becoming louder with each word.

"I am a pawn in a scheme. I don't know what the scheme is or who exactly is involved or what the end result is. So, please, put on the blindfold." Luke said, looking Lorelai straight in the eye.

"Fine! But I'm not happy about it." Lorelai said pouting.

Luke laughed, but was glad she did it. They were almost to that car. He slowed down so they could see. Oddly enough, he couldn't see into that car. He sped up and took Lorelai home. She was also told she had to remain in her room blindfolded until Luke said so. So, she did what any logical person could, she took a nap.

Logan was still blindfolded. The car stopped and he was ushered out. He was taken someplace that had no light. Everyone around him, he tried to count footsteps, was silent. Suddenly the people around him sat him down. It felt like, no it was definitely a bean bag chair. Where was he and where was Rory?

Rory, also still blindfolded, had woken up when the car stopped. She was then carried carefully up some stairs. She heard nothing. She had no idea where she was. All she wanted was Logan. Where was he?

Meanwhile, when all three were secured, back in Stars Hollow a black stretch limo pulled up right next to the gazebo.

"Wonder who that could be?" Kirk said to Lulu, as they walked Petal past Luke's diner.
