Chapter 34

Logan's POV

Finn was obviously already in love with the baby he held, but when Dr. K walked in he saw something flicker in his face as he laid eyes on her. Oh I would definitely be addressing this later when my whole family wasn't around.

"Finn are you ever going to let anyone else hold Finley?" I asked with a sarcastic tone.

"Mate, you're lucky I'm not holding Richard and hogging him too. Although I am tired of Honor poking me." Finn laughed as he finally handed over his goddaughter to her aunt.

"Well Finn, if you hadn't been hogging her, I wouldn't have been poking you! A girl needs to know her auntie." Honor said with a laugh holding her little niece tight.

"So kid, the house is all ready the babies are here, your book is done and published.." Lorelai said but was cut off.

"And it is doing phenomenally well If I may interject." Mitchum said with a smile brighter than the son, while holding his grandson.

"So what's next?" Lorelai asked.

"Mom, seriously, I just popped out twins. I think I would like to be able to spend some time with them without worrying about anything else, if that's alright?!" Rory said quite annoyed. She was so tired and was not ready for our families line of questioning.

"Is there a wedding in the future?" Shira asked sheepishly as she held her first granddaughter.

"I DON'T KNOW YET!!" Rory yelled.

"Alright guys I think it's time for everyone to go so Rory can get some rest." I quickly jump in because I can tell this isn't going in a good direction with how tired and hungry Rory is.

I take Richard and Finley and put them in their hospital bassinets, as I usher everyone out of the room and get their help to take the babies to the nursery.

"Guys, it's been a long day. She is just really tired and hungry. Could you all come back tomorrow?" I asked, feeling guilty for cutting their time with the babies short. Although there had already been 1,000 pictures I'm sure.

"Of course honey, give Rory our love and tell her I'm sorry for asking so many questions." Shira said with a smile.

"My loin fruit is just like me, give her coffee, not decaf crap and she'll be fine." Lorelai joked. Luke grabbed her hand and pulled her away, shaking his head.

Mitchum, Shira and Honor said their good-byes and headed in the same direction as Luke and Lorelai.

"So, Finn, got the hots for our doctor?" I said laughing at him as he stared in the nursey at his niece and nephew.

"I was hoping you hadn't noticed that mate." Finn said with a shy grin.

"What is stopping the great Finn from going after what he wants?" I asked feeling a bit confused.

"She is in a different league, she's a doctor. I'm what a business man, playing with mommy and daddy's money?" He said continuing to stare at the babies, I think was trying to will the nursing staff to bring them back out, with his mind.

"Finn, you are a very successful business man, sure you had mommy and daddy give you the leg up, but you've made your own money and earned respect on your own. Go, go find the doctor lady and ask her out, the worst she can say is no." I said to him, trying to encourage him to go, before he decided to have scotch.

"What about you mate? Leave you alone to face Rory?' Finn laughed.

"I'll be fine with Rory, I'm going to go get her coffee and tacos, I'll be her hero for a short time. Although I am going to need you to bring Colin and Robert with you tomorrow, I have a plan I need your help with. I was bummed business kept them away today." I said getting giddy thinking about my plan.

"Anything for your little family here mate. Anything. I'll see you tomorrow. I'm going to go find the beautiful doctor." Finn said with a smile as he started to walk down the hallway
