I woke up and it was another day of school. I forced my body to go to bath and wear my uniform. I ate breakfast with my mom.
“Ed! Ed! Look what I got here! I have this book named Creatures of Mysteries. I bought this for you! You should read it once in a while.
“Not interested.” I told her. I finished my breakfast and after everything was ready I went to school.
It was a miracle for me not to be late in school. I actually got in the room before the flag ceremony began. I sat to my chair and rested. Just after the teacher came in, everybody started to sing,
“Happy Birthday to you..Happy…” Oh. So someone is having his birthday today huh.
“Happy Birthday Gail! How old are you?”
Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh???? So today is Gail’s birthday huh..
“I’m 15 years old.” Gail said. Everyone started clapping 15 times while I was surprised that it was my robber’s birthday.
“So today is your birthday huh. Your getting old Gail xD
“Shut up.” She said to me.
I kept laughing at her and she kept on arguing and frowning. I just thought what her face would look like if she was smiling.
“Hey Ed, where’s the CD? I told you to bring it today right?”
“I seriously want to punch you right now you piece of shit.” I told that to Mark for causing me a lot of trouble from the past weekend. I forgot to bring the CD and he’s forcing me to go home and get it for him what the hell. I had no choice so I went home to get it.
I arrived home and got the CD. Just before I was about to go to school, I saw something and thought about it. After that I went back to school.
I went to my chair and sat. I looked at Gail and told her,
“Happy birthday Gail. My present for you.”
I lent Gail my present that is inside a thin box. Gail looked at me, thinking that maybe what’s inside could kill her. I could read it from her expressions.
“I went home earlier so I had the chance to get you something for a present. Be careful in opening the gift.” I told her as I passed her the gift. She opened it and her eyes were so surprised because what’s inside was,...

“What the… it’s my ..”
“Yeah. It was broken but I repaired it and put some design because I thought it would be more attractive xD.” I told her.
“Here’s another one Gail. I bet you would be really happy for this.”
I lent her another present and it’s also in a box. The moment she opened it her eyes were glowing.
“Creatures of Mysteries…?” she asked me.
“Yup. My mom bought it for me but I’m really not interested in that book. I noticed that you like reading and knowing about the secrets of this world. The moment my mom mentioned it to me, I suddenly thought of you. Take it as my present.” I told her. Her eyes were sparkling as she watches the book.
“Ed…”

“Thank you…”
Oh My God. It was the first time she called me by my name, it was her first time saying thank you to me, and it was her first time to smile in front of me. Oh My God. I always thought making her call me by my name and making her smile would be impossible. For a second I thought..
“You should smile more Gail. You look cuter than I expected you know Haha xD.”
“Shut up. Just go die ... :)”
I kept on teasing her and she keeps on wishing me to die. I kept on laughing because she wants me dead. She was smiling. She was miraculously happy. And after that, she started reading the book.
