“EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are engaged with Ed????????????” Everyone suddenly asked Jackie.
“Yup! He’s the best guy that a girl could ever have!! Don’t try to steal him from me or else you’ll suffer the consequences!!” Jackie told them.
“She’s just kidding. That’s not true. Please all of you quiet down I’m trying to sleep.” Ed immediately replied.
“Ehh? What part of Ed do you like? We can’t think of any..” Everybody asked.
“WILL YOU PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP I’M TRYING TO SLEEP WHILE YOU’RE BUSY INSULTING ME YOU PIECES OF SHIT.” Ed said, then went back to sleep.
“See? What do you see about that guy?”
“I CAN’T TAKE THIS ANYMORE I’M GOING OUT.” Ed went out and headed to the canteen to eat lunch. Yo. It’s still me Gail. I asked Ed that it’s his turn to narrate but he was in mood so I took over, such a bother.
Anyway, the class is so curious about Jackie and wanted to be friends with her.
“Hi! My name is Jackie Furiz! Nice to meet you all! :D”
All of them happily greeted Jackie as their friend. They all wanted to know more about Jackie especially about the engaged thing about Ed.
“Nah it was just a joke of course! Haha” said Jackie. After she said that all the boys suddenly rejoiced and were asking if she was still single.
“I’m sorry but my heart is only for Karl. The reason why I’m still living is that I’m waiting for him to propose to me and marry me. Oh God I love Karl so much!! <3”
After Jackie said that, all the boys looked like they’re souls have just vanished. While the boys are down, the girls are getting more and more curious of what part of Karl that Jackie likes.
“What I like about him? Isn’t it obvious? He’s got all the good qualities a guy could ever have! He’s like a needle in a haystack that is so hard to find! :D”
When the girls heard what Jackie said, they were like, “HUH?”
“We don’t really get it Jackie, but when we think about the qualities about Ed, all we could think of is that he is lazy, weak, ugly and dumb.” Everybody agreed on what the other person said.
“Well, he changed quite a bit when I saw him yesterday. I carefully looked all of the faces in the room to search for him and took me quite a while to notice him. A lot changed in him. His hairstyle, his actions and even his behavior has changed. A lot has changed but I could never forget the way he sleeps that’s why I was able to notice him :D” Jackie smiled after saying that.
The people in the classroom could not believe what she said. They were like “how could this beautiful girl, be so in love with a dumb lazy guy?”
“Oh by the way, did you say something about that Karl is dumb? Well, he’s smarter than you think you know.”
After Jackie said that, Ed went inside drinking a cup of iced tea. Jackie ran to Ed and greeted him but Ed just passed and went to his seat and slept.
“You really did it Karl you know. You really changed yourself and made a fresh new start in this school.”
Ed heard what Jackie said, but just ignored her and slept.
“You one lucky hell of a bastard you got yourself a girl haha”
“Shut up Mark. Go back your seat because classes will start soon.” Ed told his friend.
The lunch break has ended and the first subject was Math.
“Okay class. Please find yourself a partner because we’re going to have a Diad activity today.” Our teacher said.
“Karl is my partner! :D” Jackie immediately chose Ed as her partner. I looked at Ed and he was just sleeping. Crap I forgot that I didn’t have any friends in this room except Ed. I’m not gonna have any partner at this point.
“Who doesn’t have a partner? Please stand up.”
I stood up following the teacher’s instructions. The only ones who stood up are me and the guy who talked to Ed before Math period.
“Okay so Mark, you’re partner is Gail.” He transferred into an empty chair beside me and opened his book. We discussed on how to solve each problem and did it without any trouble. I think I can get along with this guy.
“You sure are lucky you know.” Mark said to me. I didn’t understand what he said. I was focused on answering the problems in the book.
“Who would have thought that the guy you robbed would be your classmate right? You’re quite lucky he didn’t report to the cops.”
And after I heard what he said, I realized, I’M SCREWED.
