“Hey, isn’t that Joseph and Veronica?”
Karl saw the 10th honor and the 9th honor walking towards the same restaurant they’re heading.
“Yup that’s them.” Rose stared at her 2 classmates.
Karl and Rose went to a vacant space and grabbed the chair when suddenly-
“Sorry but I was here first.”
Karl looked at the guy and it was Tim, the 8th honor of the class.
“Oh sorry Tim didn’t know you got here first.”
Karl walked away with Rose when Tim sat at the table alone. Rose pointed to another vacant table and both of them walked and grabbed the seats when all of a sudden-
“Oh I’m sorry. First come first serve!”
Karl looked at the lady and it was Liz, the 7th honor of the class. Both of them started wondering why some of the top 10 were in the same restaurant where they headed to. Karl left the table and Rose decided to go to a vacant table in the corner.
“Good evening ma’am sir what’s your order?”
Karl and Rose looked at the menu.
“Please don’t order too much Rose.”
Karl asked Rose while laughing and Rose threw the menu at his face and ordered the meal.”
“One Beef Wellington, one Chicken Tikka Masala, one Raspberry Swirl Frozen Dessert and 2 Oreo Cookies and Cream Milkshakes coming right up.”
The waiter went to the grilling station to give the order. The staff and the waiter talked for quite some time.
“Don’t you think it’s weird?” Karl asked Rose.
“What do you mean weird?”
Rose responded.
“You know, our 4 outstanding students coming here.”
Karl looked at their 4 classmates in separated tables.
“Them being here is not what I’m wondering about. What’s weird is that they kept staring at us.” Rose looked at Liz, Tim, Joseph and Veronica and they were staring at her and Karl.”
“Ma’am sir I deeply apologize but Beef Wellington is completely sold out.”
The waiter told Karl and Rose.
“I see. Then we’ll just have 2 Chicken Tikka Masala please.” Karl told the waiter while Rose sighed.
“Um.. sir Chicken Tikka Masala is also sold out sir..” The waiter told Karl.
“Huh? Both of the dishes got sold out?” Karl was disappointed.
“Um sir, not only that. The Raspberry Swirl Frozen Dessert and Oreo Cookies and Cream Milkshake just got also sold out sir..”
“HUH? Karl didn’t understand.
“Look.”
Rose called Karl and pointed to the other table.
Karl looked where Rose was pointing and he saw Tim’s table full of Beef Wellington. He also saw Liz’s table full of Chicken Tikka Masala. He saw Joseph’s table full of Raspberry Swirl Frozen Desserts and also saw Veronica’s table full of Oreo Cookies and Cream Milkshakes.
The moment they saw them with their dishes in their tables, they knew what was exactly going on.
“What a bunch of idiots.” Karl said to Rose.
