Update (1/26/17) - Schedule and Contest info!

SCHEDULE INFO:

Okay, so I'm going to try really hard to write by a weekly schedule. In general, so far, I've just been updating whenever I have time or feel like it or have an idea, but sometimes that's months apart and I can tell that by doing that, people are slowly losing interest to my series and moving on. It's not that I haven't wanted to update, I just always have a lot going on with school and it's really hard for me to find free time.

But I'm going to try to change all that and write by a schedule.

So, here it is:

Emma: the Monster Inside Me ~ Thursdays (or Friday, if I forget.)
Legends of Darkstalkers and Nightriders ~ TBD*
The Book of Contests ~ New contest every other Friday
Red: TBD*
My poetry book and my favorite songs book ~ Whenever I feel like it :P
*TBD means "to be determined"

Some of you know I've been writing a werewolf book called Red, but I took it down, because I like the concept, but I want to pretty much rewrite the whole thing, so I'll be working on that here and there. I won't publish it again until I know exactly where I want to go with the plot and what not.

As for Legends, I'm not sure how often we'll update that. (It's on my shared account, ) Lizzie and I write it together, so even if it's not my turn to write that chapter, we still help each other out and read it before posting it. So it really depends on when we're both available.

Obviously, today is Thursday, but I don't think I'm going to update Emma 3 today, because I updated yesterday and the day before. But I'll shoot for next Thursday.

Feel free to remind me, like the day before, to make sure I don't forget! :)

CONTEST INFO: (For The Book of Contests: go ahead and add it to your reading list if you haven't already, it's really fun!)

Hey, guys! I don't know what to do for more contests! As I said in the last update, I'm going to start posting contests every other Friday. I'm going to try to post one tomorrow, but idk what to do.

People are probably going to suggest another character contest, but I don't really want to do that because I'm in the third book and already adding characters, it will seem like a lot to add another one, especially one that isn't mine, and then I'd have to shape the story around them, and yeah. That probably wouldn't work out. So something other than a character contest. And I already did two drawing contests. I haven't picked a winner yet for the second drawing contest, but I'll announce the winner tomorrow, I guess.

What contests do you want to see? Nothing too complicated, but nothing boring either. What do you guys think would be fun? Please let me know in the comments. Feel free to google some ideas or something if you can't think of any on your own.

What do you think of these ideas?:

- Another Emma trivia where the first person to guess the most questions right gets a prize (what prizes do you guys want??)

- First person to read and comment on my upcoming chapters of Emma. Maybe an ongoing contest where the first person to read and then comment on a new chapter gets a prize. Maybe the prize could be a shoutout, and there could be a new winner every week (or every time I update Emma) :) What do you guys think?

- A short story contest that involves one or more of my characters.

What ideas do you guys have?? I can't think of anything else, and if I'm going to do these often, I need some more ideas! :)
