Han & Leia

Sleep

" not again, I've just put him back to bed " Leia said hitting the mattress as she heard Ben cry again.

" ill go " she heard Han say.

" but you have things to do tomorrow you'll be tired " she said resting her hand on his cheek

" you're a busy lady too, you'll ow me one ok " he said getting up

" oh yeah and how " she asked watching him pull his sleeping pants on

" ill find something " he said walking out of there room.

Reaching for his son Han put him against his shoulder and walked over to the rocking chair " shh It's ok Ben, I'm right here " he said looking at Ben who was slowly calming down.

" what's going on  " he asked looking down on Ben who was looking around and lifting his arms in the air, Han smiled and kissed his forehead.

" you know for a 1 month old kid you sure make a lot of noise and you're giving mommy a hard time, she needs a rest you know " he said Ben smiling at his dad talking to him.

" yes you're cute but you need to sleep now " he said ben catching his finger in his little hand and tried putting it in his mouth.

Han was to focused on Ben he hadn't even seen Leia watching him as she stood leaning against the door with a big smile on her face her eyes getting a little wet.

Ben suddenly had the hiccups and Han couldn't stop but smile " you know when someone has the hiccups it means they're growing and I'm sure you'll be a big guy, you sure do look like your mother sorry for the nose though you got that from me, but hey solo's are good looking so it's fine " he said as Ben smiled jumping from the hiccups again.

As Han talked Ben looked amazed at what his father was telling him and Leia could feel the love her little boy already had for his father, that made her wipe the one tear that had fallen.

" aaa yes but you should stop to try and talk and try falling alseep " he said as Ben answered with a little laughter and smiled.
He tried talking some more and Han just repeated what he was saying.

" of course you're handsome you're a solo after all " Han said as Ben answered again

Han still hadn't seen Leia and Ben still wouldn't fall asleep he got up and started walking around in the room hoping to get his son to sleep, he gently rocked him as he softly sang a corelian lullaby, one Leia had heard many times before even Ben was born.

The lullaby wouldn't work so Han thought about telling Ben a story " fine you're not gonna fall asleep are you, so here's the deal Ben i tell you a story and you go to sleep so i can go to sleep cause your old man is getting tired " Han said squishing Ben's cheeks together and kissed him on the forehead.

" one day there was an evil sith called darth vader who had kidnapped a beautiful princess and this princess put a message in droid saying she had information on how to blow up the death star, and... this droid landed in the hands of your uncle who at the time was just a farm boy and we had no idea he was mommy's brother, so luke........."

Han went on with the story until the end where he saw Ben slowly close his eyes

" and then the beautiful princess kissed the smuggler which he was very happy about.. "

" until an annoying golden droid interrupted them " Han heard Leia say behind him and he turned around.

" hey since when are you here " he asked whispering not to wake up ben

" I've been here the whole time, you know i can't fall asleep when you're not next to me " she said walking over to him and wrapping her arms around his waist

" well that's a long time "

" mmhh yes but it was all worth it " she said releasing him so he could put Ben back in his crib.

" I'm impressed of Han Solo, the great smuggler now married to princess of alderaan who just put a baby back to sleep " she said as he hugged her now and rest his head on her hair

" I'm a little impressed of myself too, thank you Leia " he said lifting her chin up

" for " she asked as he smiled and kissed her

" for giving me everything " he said taking a deep breath and hugging her tight, she closed her eyes as her hands caressed his back she could already feel herself fall asleep against the heat of his skin.

She lift her head up and smiled seeing his eyes closed she took his hand and walked back to there bedroom, falling back into there bed they begged he wouldn't wake up till late in the morning.
