Leia couldn't help but run through the medical bay halls, both ben and Luke where trying to catch up.

2 hours earlier Mon Monthma had pulled her out of a meeting. " Something horrible has happened to Han, they are bringing him back from Saccoria " she had said already walking with leia to the lift.

" what was he doing there " leia asked panicked as they got in the lift.

" we do not know, but he is being brought back "

" i need to get my son " leia had said quickly making her way to her apartment.

Passing by some medic droids and nurses she quickly came to his bedroom door and opened it ignoring the medic that told her to not go inside.

When she entered the room all there was was Han in a bacta tank, her heart stopped and she just watched him as she slowly walked closer to the tank.

" han " she whispered as a single tear rolled down her cheek. She rest both hands on the tank and just watched him.

" what is dad doing in there " she heard ben ask behind her, she turned around and saw him stand there with Luke and Chewie next to him.

" come here ben " she said as he slowly walked next to her. " daddy has been hurt " she whispered as ben hugged her and looked at his father.

" is daddy going to die " ben asked looking up at his mother

" no, he's gonna get better " she answered and kneeled down next to him. " don't worry honey "

It had been a week now, leia dropped by every day to see how he was doing, at times she would bring ben with her.

Even though han hadn't woken up yet ben would tell him about his day and the new trick he had learned from his uncle.

" and then i grabbed my piece of cake, i also levitated the plate it was cool " ben said as he sat now on his father's bed, han had been moved of the bacta tank just the day before, Leia had ordered the medic droids to only allow people to visit han if they asked her permission.

" uncle chewie, is daddy gonna wake up soon " ben asked as chewie came back with some food.

Chewie roared back at ben and nodded yes with his head.

" but when, its been so long and it's annoying without him at home " he said right as Luke walked in the room.

" he'll wake up, you're father is to stubborn to not wake up " luke told his nephew and giggled.

Ben was sitting on his father's bed drawing something, he was alone for a moment but didn't mind, " so i draw you, mom uncle chewie uncle luke and me, I'm sure you're gonna love it dad " he said starting to colour chewbacca's fur.

" and...ill hang it.. in the falcons cockpit " ben heard his father say, he dropped his pen and paper and quickly looked at his father. Amazed to see his eyes open, ben smiled and hugged him. Han winced a little in pain but smiled.

" you're alive " he said and got up

" where you going " han asked coughing a little

" gonna get mom, luke and chewie "

Han watched his son storm out of the room, he then looked around him, he had no idea where he was. He looked at his hand that was covered in scratches he then dropped it to his face and could feel the stubble almost turning into a beard " how long have i been here " he thought when he heard familiar voices by the door, he saw Leia's face and smiled.
