ɪˈθɪərɪəl/
adjective
1.
extremely delicate and light in a way that seems not to be of this world.

Josh woke up first that cold Sunday morning, to see Tyler snuggled into his chest, making content little noises every so often before nuzzling his head even closer into Josh.

Josh smiled tiredly at the sight and hesitantly reached up his hand; starting to play with Tyler's fluffy hair, curling it around each of his fingers as his mind was now a swimming pool, except their was no water, only Tyler. If that made any sense whatsoever.

His mind started wondering to little old memories. Like how every sleepover Josh and Tyler had, he's hand would always find a way into Tyler's hair. Not that Tyler complained, he loved it. Josh didn't know if he loved it anymore though. He was kind of hoping that he did. He wanted nothing more than for Tyler to feel safe in his arms.

He sighed lightly as he told himself to stop thinking about the past and just appreciate Tyler as he is right now. Letting his doubts win, he removed his hand.

"Mmm, Josh, no, please don't stop." Josh's eyes widened at the request but once he figured out that he was talking about his hair, he didn't waste a second before raising his hand once again.

Carrying on making small patterns and mini hairstyles, letting his fingers run around the garden of hair in no which way.

"Okay, cupcake."

Josh could feel Tyler's smile against his chest before he looked up at Josh.

"Thank you, Joshie" Tyler giggled hidding his face in the crook of Josh's neck.

"Anything for you, Ty" Josh smiled lazily grabbing Tyler's hair softly being delicate so that he didn't hurt him.

Tyler sighed contently "I wish could stay here forever."

"Me too, Ty. Me too..."

"I'm sorry for being a cry baby last night" Tyler apologised, voice being muffled from Josh's shoulder.

"No Tyler. Don't be sorry...I'm actually really glad that last night happened."

Tyler gasped and pulled away looking at Josh with an unhealthy amount of hope in his eyes "Really?!"

Josh just smiled down at Tyler, hesitating slightly before giving him a soft kiss on his forehead; ruffling his hair "What's my chances if I asked you to come with me on a date this evening?"

Tyler beamed and giggled excitedly "Is that even a question Josh?"

"Yes" Josh smiled.

"Then it's a very silly one."

Josh laughed as he watched Tyler get out of his bed walking around his room to his closet.

"Um, can I borrow something to wear? I kinda wasn't expecting to sleep over" Tyler asked suddenly very shy again once he realised he was just wearing one of Josh's baggy jumpers and some shorts that he'd borrowed him the night before.

"Of course you can, Ty." Josh smiled; seeing Tyler lightly tugging on the baggy jumper that he was wearing to attempting to cover his legs even if it was only slightly.

"Tyler. Don't be afraid, okay? It's still just me. You don't need to hide yourself."

Josh assumed that his words of wisdom reassured Tyler as hung his head and gave up trying to stretch the jumper downwards.
