"Jiiiiiissssswwwwaaaaaa" The tired but giddy boy sang, his warm brown eyes trailing all over Josh's sleepy form. He didn't wake Josh from his slumber often so it must've been important. Or probably not. Who knows with Tyler really.

"Mmmnpfh-w-what do you want ty?" Josh's reply came out as a slur of hardly recognisable mumbo jumbo due to his mouth being covered by his oversized, burgundy Christmas jumper. Eyes still closed from trying to fall asleep. Emphasis on trying. Tyler had been up all night explaining to Josh how excited he was to go downstairs. Asking every five minutes if it was time. Therefore, keeping Josh awake longer than he wanted to be. Upon hearing Tyler's adorable, sleepy voice practically begging him however, he couldn't bear to say no any longer.

Sighing deeply he decided to peak up at Tyler through one of his eyes, causing his face to squint ever so slightly. And instantly grinned at the sight he was greeted with. Tyler was leaning over Josh and beaming down at him gracefully, shining away all of Josh's distresses and worries purely by his beautiful sun kissed presence just simply being here with him. Tyler's bright aura was so powerful, that it put the sun to shame, no matter how many worlds the sun could juggle at once. Tyler was the only one that kept Josh's world still spinning. I know that sounds very deep for a seven year old, but it was true, he didn't know what he would do without Tyler. It'd be like his life was put on hold. He never wanted to experience that.

Tyler let out an adorable little squeak of excitement as he jumped off of the bed and tugged him ever so slightly by Josh's overgrown sleeves. He had those little sweater paws because they both wanted to own matching Christmas jumpers jumpers. Of course, the jumpers they both managed to fall in love with, just so happened to not be in their size.

"Crismas, Jishy, Crismas" Tyler giggled as he joyfully bounced up and down on the spot, trying to convince Josh that Christmas was a good enough reason to get him out of bed.

Josh removed his hand fully from over his deep brown eyes and turned his sleepy head to look at the small pink alarm clock on Tyler's bedside table. Tyler from being very little has always adored pretty colours. He didn't care about gender rolls. Mainly because no one had ever said anything about it. To him, colours were just that. Colours. Nobody should be defined just because of which colour they prefer. Tyler's young mind worked in unique ways. Even his parents were inspired by their own son.

"Ty, are you sure? It's only four am, Santa might not even be here yet" Josh tried to convince. Trying to make his little prince crawl back under blankets so that he could snuggle him once again, but once Tyler's awake, it's hard to get him back to sleep.

"Pwease jishwa" Tyler whispered softly as he pouted; his puppy dog eyes beginning to well with tears "I just wanna go and open some gifts"

Josh instantly sat upright at the sight of his own little gift about cry. He would stay awake forever if it meant that he didn't have to see Tyler cry, and Josh really likes his sleep.

"Okay, okay, Ty...but please don't cry" He whispered, as he thought about anyone that might've been asleep in the house. Waking up to Tyler crying on Christmas day, probably wouldn't be very nice. Even thought Tyler's excitement probably woke them up anyway, which is better. In Josh's books it was anyway.
