"Aisley wake up!"
A voice screamed in my ear startling me from my slumber. I jumped up and turned to the intruder and held my hands out like I was going to fight. I brought them down and glared when I saw it was only Aayla.
"What do you want?!" I yelled caressing the side of my head.
"Get ready it is time for your surprise." She ordered. Hearing those words woke me up. I sprinted into the bathroom to get a look at myself. My long dark curly hair was in knots, my eyes looked bloodshot. There were marks on my face from the way I had slept. I was a mess, there was no helping that. I jumped in the shower hoping to cure some of my ugliness.
After I exited the shower I brushed my hair carefully, hoping to not yank on my padawan braid. My eyes had returned back to there bright blue color. And the marks on my face had vanished. I let my hair curl naturally and threw on my boring robs. I looked in the mirror content with my look. I walked out of the bathroom to see Aayla gone. I guess she had gone to Padmè's apartment. I decided to head towards Padmè's apartment to meet them.
I opened up the ginormous double doors and entered. I saw Padmè sitting on the couch waiting frantically. She looked up at me with enthusiasm, but frowned when she saw it was only me. She sat beside one of her guards, but this man was not an ordinary guard. It was Gregar Typho, I remembered him from when me and Anakin had been first introduced to the life of a Jedi. He was her head of security he sat next to her on he couch. But did not say a word.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's only me." I sarcastically apologized.
"Sorry. It's just I'm waiting for a very important guest to arrive." Padmè responded nervously gritting her teeth.
"Yousa need a chill pill Senator, mesa thinks." A voice declared from the corner of the room. The voice sounded very familiar. I turned around and saw a gungan leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. Jar Jar
"Hello Jar Jar." I greeted taking a step closer to him. He tilted his head to side examining me, attempting to remember how we knew each other. Suddenly his eyes grew big as he registered who I was.
"Aisley! Isa really you?!" He half shouted as he ran towards me and hoisted me in the air for a second. Padmè and I both laughed at Jar Jar's excitement.
"You've grown so much!" Jar Jar enthusiastically announced looking me up and down once again.
"Same old Jar Jar." I laughed at his enthusiasm.
"Yousa stay here I be right back." Jar Jar stated as he ran out of the room towards the elevator. I laughed and turned around towards Padmè. She stood up from the couch along with Gregor and walked towards the window.
"He certainly hasn't changed." I laughed along with Padmè. My laughter halted when something caught my eye. In the back of the room sat a dresser with many different items on it. I walked towards it and examined the dresser. There were dozens of pictures and trinkets from Naboo. I picked up a photo, it was an image of Padmè with her family all smiling under the sun in a beautiful meadow. Looking at the happiness Padmè and her family shared when they were together made me wonder what it would have felt like if my family had all stayed together.
My thoughts were interrupted when I felt a presence entering the apartment. Without looking I could tell it was two Jedi. They both felt oddly familiar, one more than the other. I didn't turn around I kept staring at the picture I held in my hand. I heard Jar Jar screaming with joy in the other room. I guess Jar Jar some how knew them too. This made me wonder, who were these Jedi?
