Chapter 27

Julie's POV

The rehearsal went pretty well, but after half an hour we decided it would be for the best to get something to drink and maybe lunch too.

I picked up my coat which I had put on a chair and made my way over to the boys.

"What do you want to eat?", I asked them, smiling.

They all grinned at me weirdly, shooting glazes at each others. "How about we drive home and you cook something delicious?", Ben smiled.

"Seriously? I am home for like 3 hours and you already want me to make you food", I laughed. "But okay. At first we have to stop at a grocery store, cause I already know your fridge is empty."

"You know me too well", my older brother said, pulling me in a side-hug.

After 30 minutes of shopping, which meant three men packing everything they could find in a shopping cart, we finally entered my brothers flat. He lived in the same house as my dad, but each one of them had different apartments.

I began to cut the vegetables, the lads sipping a beer, watching my amazing skills.

I decided to make a tagliatelle with some sort of bacon sauce, which was nearly done, when suddenly the doorbell rang. No one of the boys decided to move, so it was my turn to go and get it.

"You guys are such dorks. Could you at least make sure the sauce isn't burning?", I shouted back at them, opening the door.

Ashton's POV

Just thinking about her, made me feel nervous. I wanted to apologize to her so badly, trying to make her my girlfriend again. But even if she wouldn't  I could say, I'd tried.

"I think we should go to the hotel at first and rent a car. I'll call her dad and ask him, if she's with him", Moni said, pulling out her cellphone, dialing a number.

I followed the others through the terminal of the airport. The lads all had sunglasses on and their hoods up, so no one could recognize them, but I didn't actually care. I even hoped to see some fans, cause they always lift my spirits.

"Mate, everything's okay?"; suddenly Louis was standing next to me.

"Why are you asking?", I shrugged.

"Cause since Jules and you broke up, you and her as well have acted differently. And you broke up yesterday", he said, putting his hands on my shoulders.

"Like I've told everyone before, I just miss her a lot", I replied, trying to get out of his grip.

"Ash, you can probably make Moni fall for that, but there is still something else, isn't it?", the older boy asked me curiously.

"I... I don't know. It's just that... I don't know why I did it", I sighed. " I don't have the lightest idea, why I made out with that girl."

"Wait a sec. You didn't sleep with her?!"; Louis looked at me confused.

"No. She was about... about to open my jeans and I stopped her. I finally realized, that it was wrong doing that. I... I thought, if I'd never tell her, she wouldn't find out", I blurred out, not knowing if Louis would punch me in the face again.

He embraced me in a hug, saying "Firstly, I do hope you and her are going to work this out and secondly, I do believe she's going to forgive you at some point."

I realized, that I jut couldn't sit around in a hotel room, waiting for Moni, to come and tell me where she was. I had to know it right away. Not even caring about Louis, I ran over to her, making her turn around.

"You have to tell me, where she is right now. I have to see her", I whispered, only her being able to hear it.

"God Ashton. You scared me. Well, she isn't at her dad's, so I guess she's with either Tom or her brother Ben", she told me.

I raised an eyebrow. "Who is Tom?"

"Ash, chill. They are just good friends. Well, I do believe, she told me once that he has a girlfriend. But they are probably at Ben', she said, giving me the address.

I thanked her, begging the other boys to take my suitcase with them, hoping into the fist cab I could find.

After about half an hour drive through the city, we finally reached the destination, and I paid the taxi driver.

I practically ran upstairs, till I found the right door and rang the bell next to it. I heard people talking behind it, and soon someone opened the door.

Jules was standing in front of me, the smile on her face slowly falling off. She stood there emotionless just starring at her.

"Jules everything okay?", a tall brunette boy said, suddenly standing next to her. He put his arm around her waist, making me sort of jealous.

She stopped starring with a blank expression and opened her mouth. "T-Tom, this... is Ashton."

"The Ashton in 'He cheated on me with some blonde bitch'?", he asked her and she nodded slightly.

That was the moment, when he moved away from her, moving forward to me. "I don't know, if you are a cool lad or not, but you hurt my best friend, my sister and my darling", he said, punching me in the face.

I lost my balance, colliding with the handrail of the stairs. That was, when I blacked out.
