Wanna see a magic trick? BOOM! I updated!

After a while, I finally arrived at my home and shifted back into human form. I opened the door to my small one-room shelter and stared at the furious wolf who stood by the far wall. His flaming eyes swirled with rage and, had he not been bound by my magic, I had no doubt he would have already attacked me.
He was temporarily incapacitated, but as he struggled to break free, the purple field around him glowed brighter and he roared in pain.
"If you stop fighting it, it won't hurt you." I said while leaning against the wall and crossing my arms.
The chocolate colored wolf only glared at me harder, his fur puffed up along his back, and he barked menacingly at me, flashing his fangs. Anger swirled in me as my cat loathed disrespect, especially because of my rank. I gave him a warning growl.
"Why don't we discuss this in a civilized manner. I certainly will not release you if you're going to act like a wild beast!"
He only grew more enraged and continued fighting against my magic. I was beyond irritated and lost my last shred of patience.
"SHIFT!" I roared, using my version of an alpha tone.
The wolf froze for a moment and stared at me both in shock and fear, not expecting me to have such authority. After a few moments, he shifted into his human form. I noticed he had light chestnut hair and dark eyes, similar to the color of his wolf's coat. His fists and jaw clenched as he stared at me.
"Take. Me. To. My. Mate!" he said through his teeth.
'That's why he's so angry!' said my cat.
Then I realized the full weight of his words. He wasn't fighting because he was distracted by his mate, and the only wolf it could have been was Aeryn. It took me by surprise to find out that he was her mate. I furrowed my brow in confusion.
"Who are you?"
"It doesn't matter! Now let me go!"
"If you don't answer my questions, I will never let you go!" I growled.
He was silent for a moment before complying to my request.
"I'm Levi. Levi Cordova."
"Okay..... Levi. Why on earth were you fighting with rogues? Even you should know that you're above that."
His anger turned to confusion, and he stared at me as if I had four heads. I raised an eyebrow at his reaction.
"What are you even talking about!? I stayed with them because I had nowhere else to go. I don't have a pack, and I can hardly remember anything before I woke up in the forest two months ago. You act like you know me, but I sure as heck don't know you! I just want to get to my MATE!"
What? He can't remember anything? That means he doesn't even know what he is.
I could not believe what I was hearing. My jaw was slightly open, and I just gazed blankly at the werewolf standing before me. He started to yell at me again, but none of it registered in my mind. That's when I noticed the room started spinning and my vision started to blur. I could see the wolf was becoming agitated, but I could no longer hear any sounds. Then, everything went black.

When I finally opened my eyes, I saw that I was in an exquisite palace garden. It was expertly designed and some aspects of it were unnatural or impossible, but they merely added to the beauty and wonder of the place. All the structures were made from grey and white marble, and instead of flowers, some of the plants had what looked like miniature stars growing out of them.
I knew exactly where I was. I had been here a few times before.
"I'm glad to know you at least appreciate the architecture." Said a voice.
I turned to see the woman walking through the garden behind me. She had pulled one of the stars off a bush and was examining it in her hand. Her hair looked exactly like the grey and white marble, and when she finally looked up at me, I saw her eyes were so bright they looked only like pure light.
"Moon goddess." I said while bowing slightly in respect.
She smiled at me before releasing the small star. It floated around the garden randomly before shooting into the sky and disappearing. She walked closer to me until she was about an arm's length away. I could feel the immense power radiating off her. I merely looked at her, remaining silent.
"I see you've found Levi." She said.
"Yes...but he doesn't know what he is." I said, trying my best not to sound annoyed.
She gave me a look, knowing what my thoughts were and I quickly tried to shove them out of my mind.
"If I may be so bold, you know what dangers are coming. Do you really think it was a good idea to start over now? He will be no use to us if he cannot comprehend or control his abilities." I continued.
Her expression became serious as her eyes bore into mine.
"Eternus and Reldor served their time. I could not ask them to sacrifice more than they had. Levi was the only one I found in generations who was worthy to bear the burden. He will learn, and he will help you."
I nodded slowly before responding.
"So, what should I do with him? Should I let him go to Aeryn or tell him what he is?"
"No. It is not time for them to meet, and he will eventually discover the truth. He will travel alone to the Royal Pack, and only when he arrives will Aeryn feel the mate bond."
She then walked past me to inspect more of the stars on the bushes. She eventually selected a bright, pinkish one and held it in the palms of her hands.
"Before I send you back, I should warn you to be careful when using so much magic like you did tonight. It draws unwanted attention."
I didn't have the chance to respond before the star she was holding started floating and swirling around my body, creating trails of light. I knew I was going back to reality. I turned my head to glance to the right when I noticed someone else standing in the garden. He was smiling at me and I instantly recognized him. A solitary tear crept down my cheek.
"One day..." I said softly, before I was once again greeted by the overwhelming darkness.
Sorry to do this to you guys, but this was a good stopping point. I had intended for it to last much longer, but I'll save the rest for Chapter 5! Thank you to everyone who commented and who gave me feedback to help improve my writing! :)
