Lucinda

Its almost midnight and I'm standing in front of a two bedroom house in Lubbock Texas. I walk up the stairs and phase right through the front door. Even though I am invisible to everyone here, I still walk as silently as a cat. Slowly, I make my way through the house to a bedroom that has its door closed. I phase through that as well. The room is not big nor small, but right now the only light to be seen is the light coming in from the street lights outside the windows.

This isn't stalkerish at all but... I just had to make sure he is alright. I think to myself as I walk over to the bed and see a young man sleeping.

He's already sleeping. I sigh to myself and look around. I put my hands above my head and cast a new warding spell around the room and house. I smile at my work and walk over to the young man. "Goodnight William." I say softly and smile. This would be such a romantical moment if only I could kiss his forehead. I think to myself as I teleport to HQ.

I walk along the lakes edge, watching the blue sun rise from the west and change colors to yellow. Why did she have to make this planet backwards in rotation. Ugh. And that freaky color change is... Well freaky. I think to myself as I stop and watch a little fox pup stumble and almost fall into the water. With swift movements I catch the little flame colored ball of fur.

It blinks at me for a second and licks my hand. Suddenly, a voice comes from behind me. "Thank you for catching him! He can't swim yet and thinks water is a friend of fire foxes."

I look behind me and see another flame colored fox, his mother. "Your welcome." I say as I sit the little baby down.

Behind the mother is two other baby's, both of which are play fighting. I smile at them and pet the one I sat on the ground. He looks at his mom, knowing he was in trouble and bows his head.

"I believe you're in trouble mister." I say with a wink and go to walk away.

After a few steps, I stop. I can see the beautiful rainbow tree from here. The Lilakin tree is so beautiful. I think as I use water magic to step onto the lake. Every step on the crystal lake sends ripples through the water. Once I am under the cliff, I float to the top.

I sit cross legged with my back to the tree and close my eyes. I take a few deep breaths but my breathing hitches in my throat.

For a few minutes, I just sit there staring at the water. Until a voice makes me jump. "So there you are! I was looking for you!" Chimes a voice that already pisses me off.

"I'm going to hang a sign that says no elves allowed." I say glaring at the jerk.

"Well that's racist. And I'm offended by that," he says laughing.

"Oh, so you're human?" I grumble as he takes a seat beside me.

"Nope and never wanna be." He says looking at the lake.

"Now THAT is racist you ass." I say rolling my eyes and refraining from punching him. In the face. With spiked gloves.

Suddenly, he got serious. "You know, maybe you should talk to someone instead of bottling up your emotions like you do."

My face falls flat and so does my voice. "I'm not bottling anything up."

Davaseal turns to me and frowns. "You're still getting moments of depression. I can see it in your eyes. Right now is one of those times."
