Ellion walked down to the dungeons after breakfast to get Alice and Vivi. He'd known they'd want to sleep in after last night's escapades. But on the sight of the two sleeping teens he backtracked all the way up the stairs to the training rooms. He'd practice until Alice and Vivi woke up. They were lucky they had a day off training. He entered the gym to see Valkyrie silently stretching in some work-out clothes and he went over to warm up with her.

"Where are Alice and Vivi?" she asked.

"Still asleep. I'll go down again in about an hour to check if they're awake to let them out. When China gave me the keys to the cell she didn't tell me I'd have to open it and close it twice a day." He replied with a chuckle.

"I wonder why they're so tired. It must be very uncomfortable down there. Enough to wake you up." Valkyrie smirked at him.

"Yeah, I wonder." Ellion gulped and started sweating. Not from the warm up but because of the fear of being found out.

"Chill out Ell. I know about last night. Skull told me when he accidently let it slip he had Vivi all night among his complaining. So, you two, huh? My little sister and my best friend's nephew." She sighed and began working on a boxing bag.

"Well, I'm not so sure about that. I don't know what she thinks about me." He admitted and thought back to the previous night when Alice had tears in her eyes.

...I thought I loved him and he made me feel like no one else did...

"I think she likes you. You're always together and its obvious she loves your company and likes spending time with you more than anyone else." Valkyrie said through grunts of effort from her punches.

"Maybe. How was your date with Fletcher yesterday?" Ellion questioned and picked up a sword to practice on a robot dummy. He was half focused on his training and half on his conversation with Valkyrie.

"It was amazing. I had the best time. I actually felt like a normal person again. I haven't felt like that since... since before Fletcher and I broke up last time. He makes me feel like everything goes away for a while and I'm just a normal girlfriend and he's just a normal boyfriend." She smiled.

"You two may work great as a normal couple but not so much as in everything else. That's why he was so great for Stephanie. I'm not telling you that you shouldn't like him or anything. You just won't work as well together in your usual lives. Maybe it's best if you have someone who made you feel like your life is normal for you. Someone who's life is the same." Ellion said and Valkyrie stopped punching the bag.

"If you're not saying I should break up with him then what are you saying?" she narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm happy with my life for once in so long."

"But are you really happy with your life? Or are you happy with pretending to be something else, someone else, somewhere else? I'm saying that you two won't work out perfectly. I'm saying that I see the way you look at Fletcher and I say the way you look at someone else. And no matter how hard you try or how much you tell yourself, it's not the same look. And that someone else is nothing like Fletcher."

"Dexter" Valkyrie whispered and Ellion nodded.
