"AISH!!!" yelled Sae in frustration as she threw her rejected application forms to the ground, sending papers spewing across the floor of her apartment.

It had been half a year since she had arrived at Seoul from her hometown in Jeju to pursue her music career. She had started with some of the most well-known entertainment companies but all of her auditions had been failures. She had taken the judges' advice and improved, but even the small companies had rejected her. What was she supposed to do now?

She had come to a standstill in pursuing her career. As she slumped down against the wall, she looked at the papers that lay spread across the floor of her apartment. From the corner of her eye, she spotted one word and one word only. BigHit. The only form that hadn't been rejected yet. She fumbled clumsily to the piece of paper that sat on the floor about a foot away from her. Desperately, she picked up the piece of paper and looked at it. This may be her only chance left; she had to do it.

In a rapid moment, Sae stood and ran to get a pen while holding onto the piece of paper like it was her lifeline. As soon as she got ahold of a pen, she ran back to the living room. She quickly sat herself down at the table and began to write her application carefully. When she was done, she held up her application as if it was her most prized possession and put it in an envelope to mail to the company. Finished with the envelope, she hurriedly ran outside in the cold of winter to mail it. People walking by might've thought she was crazy but hey, this was her one chance.

Sae went without sleep for many days, consumed in the thoughts of BigHit and the success of her application. Then one day, she heard the very familiar sound of the mailman dropping off a letter in her mailbox. She quickly stood up and went to the door to retrieve it. Grabbing the envelope, she went back inside and almost tore it open. In the envelope was a copy of her application. As she scanned the application, she almost screamed. On the very bottom was a green stamp.

She had been accepted to attend the audition at BigHit.

"F*CK YEAH!" yelled Sae in joy as she danced by herself in her apartment. This was going to be the start of her music career.
