"Who are you?"

The question echoed loudly throughout the empty dance room. Asked the question, the pink haired youth looked appalled. Had this trainee really asked who he was? Sae asked again, this time being slightly more firm than the last. SLIGHTLY.

"I asked, who in the f*ck are you?"

The lad appeared to be surprised by the girl's sudden profanity. He covered his mouth in quiet shock, but gently brushed it off with a chortle. He then proceeded to introduce himself suavely to the clueless girl.

"How rude of me. Hello, my name's Kim Seokjin, or Jin for short. I am the idol group BTS's visual and vocalist here at BigHit Entertainment," he said. Sae's eyes widened but she stayed silent, having been embarrassed at not recognizing who this strange person was. She lowered her head politely and mumbled "Hello," trying to hide her face that was now tinted a bright pink.

"So...going back to the original question," Jin said, flashing a bright smile. "Do you need any help?"

Sae looked back up, her face colour having returned to the norm. She then proceeded to state her question quite blatantly.

 "With what exactly? Dancing?"

Jin nodded, still strangely filled with energy despite his group's busy schedule. Sae looked at Jin and then back at herself, thinking about all the videos of idols she's watched and trying to find in her memory a clip of Jin-sshi dancing. When she finally came upon the memory, she wanted to cringe. After remembering, she looked back at Jin and with the most nonchalant and almost perhaps rude voice said:

"I'd rather shoot up into the ceiling, break my neck, and die."

Jin was shocked. He was surprised at the sudden hurtful dialogue coming from the trainee's mouth. He pretended to clutch his chest in agony and feign collapsing on his knees. He then looked up at Sae in desperation and said: "That was really mean."

Sae, realizing the words that she had just said, covered her mouth and looked at Jin with apology. A moment later, she took her hands away and mouthed "Sorry." They both stared at one another in awkwardness as the moments ticked by until Jin began to laugh. In fact, he was almost breaking down. Despite the rude words that the trainee had uttered, she still seemed bothered by the fact that she had said those words; Jin found that strangely funny. Seeing Jin suddenly burst out into laughter, Sae was relieved. She didn't want to start beef with an idol on her first day as a pre-debut group trainee. She chuckled, her laugh stiff and tense.

After Jin's laugh faded, he sat up on the floor of the dance room and faced Sae.

"It's okay, you don't need to apologize. I was just teasing you, I obviously know that I can't dance well. But seeing you dance so well and be frustrated, I thought I would lighten the mood but it didn't work out the way I wanted it to," he said, twiddling his thumbs and laughing gawkily.

Sae looked down at her hands, now folded together.

"Sorry, I was a bit rude to you sunbae-nim. I remembered clips of your previous dancing and the words just came out. I apologize," Sae replied.

"No, no. Don't apologize. But...did you watch me in video clips before?" Jin asked curiously.

Sae turned to face Jin and smiled meekly, shrugging her shoulders.

"...Maybe?"

Jin's face suddenly lit up. "JINJA?! Wah, I feel like I'm really appreciated right now," he exclaimed, smiling at the "sky." (It's really a ceiling) Sae was even more embarrassed now, it was just a view; nothing important. But he was making such a big deal out of it. She buried her face in her hands in shame.

After exaggerating Sae's actions, Jin stood up and put his hands on his hips.

"I don't know if I could help you, but maybe I can. Do you want to try practicing again?" he asked in a bright tone, looking down at Sae. Sae looked up slowly and confidently smiled, her gaze burning with ambition.

"If I don't shoot up into the ceiling first, then definitely," she said as she got up from the floor. Jin laughed at her comedic roast.

"Now that's the spirit."
