Sae began practicing again, Jin right at her side helping along the best he could. This time, Sae got the move right. She was ecstatic.
"HECK YEAH!" she shouted, pumping both her fists up into the air. Jin still was surprised, he was finding out more sides to this trainee than he thought. But he laughed knowing that the mood had gotten lighter. Sae turned to Jin and bowed her head.
"Thank you sunbae-nim. I really didn't expect much help, but you've helped quite a lot," she said. Jin smiled and replied, "Well, you didn't shoot up into the ceiling when I helped, so I've done my job right."
Hearing his meaningful words, the both shared a laugh by themselves in the dance room. That day was perhaps the most memorable for young Sae. They decided to meet up again when Jin had a break, but what she wasn't expecting was that she'd see Jin a lot more from now on.
The next day, Sae woke early again. This time, she had a proper breakfast. After eating, the managers drove her to JYP's company to use their individual dance room. Arriving at the company, Sae walked through the front entrance at the protection of the managers. Her group had not been yet revealed to the public; it was to prevent a scandal. After she had entered, she was led by some of the JYP staff to their dance room. Upon arrival, she was astounded. On the wall was black wallpaper that had an imprinted gem with a galaxy centered in the middle. In the front of the design wrote the word, Jerome.
"Jeebus, this is amazing," said Sae as she slowly walked into the room, looking around. The room was big, bright and not to mention clean. She set her stuff down in the corner of the room and sat on the floor, waiting. A couple minutes later a blonde dyed head popped out from the side of the door, wearing a large grin. She came in and let out a large yell, jumping on Sae. Sae, having been attacked, let out a large yell in response to her back almost being broken.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow... what is it exactly that you have to yell and break my back for?" she said, flipping Baek-Ah off. Baek-Ah landed softly on her back and jumped back up.
"Min Hyuk is joining!" Baek-Ah exclaimed excitedly. Sae turned around to face Baek-Ah and raised an eyebrow.
"Who?"
"Min Hyuk, the trainee at SM that I said would maybe join our group. Turns out, negotiations went well and through; she's joining Jerome as the newest member!"Baek-Ah said, still giddy with joy. Sae looked troubled at the news, she was still adjusting to joining a group and now there was going to be a new member. She was unsure if she would be able to handle it. Thinking thoroughly, Sae turned back to Baek-Ah and asked, "When's she coming?"
"She's not coming, she's already here," said an unfamiliar voice from the entrance of the dance room. Sae whipped around in astoundment. A girl with pink wavy hair tied in a "man bun esc." style that ran down to just below her shoulder stood in the doorway of the room radiating a sort of hipster aura. She was beautiful, cool, pretty, sexy; any adjective that could describe "perfect looks." As she stood there, Sae's jaw almost unhinged. How could such perfection exist? It seemed that Sae's thoughts seemed to be expressed quite clearly for the girl gave her a smile that could blind eyes. When Sae finally collected herself, she nodded and said a quiet hello. The girl greeted her back.
As they both faced each other awkwardly, Baek-Ah decided to break the ice by slinging an arm around the girl and saying "This is Min Hyuk, a trainee at SM... and the new addition to Jerome. Welcome, unni."
Min Hyuk raised her hand and roughly ruffled Baek-Ah's hair; at this action, Sae was a bit shocked.
Grinning, Min Hyuk said comfortably, "You should learn to respect your elders more Baek-Ah."
