[[12]] The Secret

The rest of the day the two spent walking hand in hand along the secluded streets of Seoul, the dead leaves floating off of the extensive branches of the trees. Time passed quickly, and it was soon time to go back to the company. The two walked until they reached the road which split their paths, ending their day together. But before they both left one another in isolation, they held onto each other's hands whilst gazing at each other. Jin planted a soft kiss on Sae's forehead before gently letting go of her hands. As Sae let go of his hands, she gave a legitimate bright smile, which he returned. The two gave each other their final glances before going their own way.

Walking away, Sae smiled to herself as she clutched her still-warm hand to her chest, her day quite fulfilled. Her surroundings seemed much brighter; her heart beat much faster than it had before. But as she trod further and further away, her heart missed the warmth of her newfound love. But knowing she would see him again made her feel much better than she would have felt. 

Back at the company, she strode jovially up the stairs to her room in which she jumped on her bed and screamed into a pillow. Her expression was still glowing with happiness as she clutched her pillow tightly. In this position, she remained, until it was time to eat dinner and do nightly preparations. The next morning, the previous day was as prominent in her head as if it had happened just at that moment. But one question remained in Sae's mind: "Were they dating?" She couldn't tell, so she decided to text him and ask. With her text came a fast reply.

"Yes." 

She smiled, looking at his text. It may have been simple, but that one word meant a lot. After staring at her phone screen for perhaps the longest time, Sae got out of bed to prepare for the day. Prepped and ready to face the new day with confidence, she rushed to the JYP building where Baek-Ah and Min Hyuk were waiting, anticipating the news. Standing by the dance room door, Sae gave one look at the two and consequently, they all yelled, Baek-Ah jumping on Sae in congratulations. 

However, their celebration had to be postponed. The three had plans within their schedule to get styled for their sub group. As they reached the stylists' room and sat down in three chairs adjacent to one another, they discussed with the stylists the way to work out girl forms and boy forms at the same time. When they finally finished discussing, the girls' hair was styled and cut. Done getting their haircuts, they ran their hands through their now short hair, pleased at the outcome. Dressing appropriately, the three then went to JYP to discuss their subgroups. In the room, the three were sat down firmly by the Producer. 

Plans for the subgroup and what was expected of them were discussed with the producer. But the most surprising thing that the Producer told them was that their identities must be kept a secret. From both the fans and the mentors. From everyone apart from the staff. This news shocked Sae the most, and as the three exited the room, Baek-Ah and Min Hyuk reassured her that everything was going to be fine. 

But Sae knew everything was not going to be fine. She had to keep this a secret from Jin, the person who was most important to her right now. She had agreed to form the subgroup because of Baek-Ah and Min Hyuk, but she had not expected for this to be kept a secret. As she stood there with her two friends, Sae could not fathom what she was going to do.
