Sae sat there looking at the two girls in astonishment; especially Min Hyuk. How could a girl emanate such perfection? She could not get this concept through her mind. But she had to get herself together. She decided to pose the question: "So, how old are you exactly?" Min Hyuk looked from Baek-Ah to Sae and smiled.
"I'm 21 born on November 3rd. What about you?" she asked.
"Well according to what you said, that makes you older than me," replied Sae, grinning. She was getting more comfortable around this new member.
"Cool, so that means Baek-Ah is the maknae," said Min Hyuk, ruffling Baek-Ah's hair again. Baek-Ah clutched her head and moved away from Min Hyuk, fixing her hair. Jokingly she said, "That must mean I'm more talented than both of you."
At her words, Min Hyuk and Sae both looked at one another and nodded their heads in agreement. Turning back to Baek-Ah, they both yelled "Come here you!" and began running after the maknae. Baek-Ah dashed across the dance room, out of their reach, while laughing. Unexpectedly, the three members were getting along better than expected. They all ended up spending half the day getting to know one another rather than practicing. When they finally decided to practice, only Baek-Ah and Sae knew the moves, so they had to teach Min Hyuk. Finishing the teaching, the three practiced "Skydive" until they had the whole choreography down perfectly.
A while later, JYP and BANG PD showed up with a bunch of people. By a bunch, I mean a bunch. Behind the two PD's were EXO, BTS, and GOT7. You'd think that many people couldn't fit into the dance room, but there was more than enough space. Seeing the PD's and other popular celebrities, the three girls stood up and bowed politely. The large group greeted them back as well. As they all entered the dance room, Sae noticed familiar pink hair from the corner of her eye but decided not to say anything until Jin took it upon himself to greet her warmly. Sae raised a hand meekly but did not say anything else. Upon her greeting towards Jin, the other BTS members asked Jin how he knew this girl that they had never met before.
Sae felt extremely awkward. She did not want to be the odd one out of her group. But now that the entirety of BTS was asking Jin about her, she had no choice but to stand out. Min Hyuk, noticing Sae's uneasiness, patted her on the shoulder in comfort. Sae looked at Min Hyuk and smiled, feeling a lot better. BTS eventually quieted down in terms of asking Jin about his acquaintance and the producers began talking.
"If you girls didn't know already, these boys are from EXO, GOT7, and BTS. They'll be your mentoring group while you're at each company. So Sae and Minhyuk, make sure to get along with your mentor group," said BANG PD.
Sae wanted to ask why all their mentors were boys but decided not to say anything further to trouble the PD's. She figured they had a plan for everything, and she decided to just bow her head to BTS. The first introductions were stiff but eventually, Min Hyuk and Sae both got along well with the groups they were assigned to. Baek-Ah already knew her mentor group and got along well with all the members; instigating conversations between the two trainees and their groups.
Thanks to Baek-Ah, Sae became comfortable with BTS and Jin decided to explain why he knew her to the members. Understanding, the members smiled and laughed, roasting Jin about his inability to dance. Jin wanted to punch all of them but held it in as to not make Sae think badly about him. As BTS joked and laughed, Sae noticed that Jin was hesitating to keep them in line.
Suddenly, she decided to say: "You're the oldest. You can punch them if you want you know."
Hearing her words, the rest of BTS turned to Sae with shocked faces. But Jin, knowing Sae's ways laughed loudly, clutching his stomach.
"You're absolutely right, I could do that couldn't I?" replied Jin. BTS looked back and forth from Sae to Jin, confused. These twos' relationship was the strangest they had ever seen.
