Sae looked at Baek-Ah in astoundment and suspicion, surprised that she was good friends with one of the mentors but suspicious of her stated relationship with him. She decided of her own volition to assume that Baek-Ah had feelings for BamBam. Why else would she frame a photo of only them two on her wall? Thinking this, Sae just replied with a smile and "Oh, okay."
Hearing her response, Baek-Ah continued with her task of drawing the curtains closed. After she had drawn them, she turned on the lamp sitting on her desk, illuminating the room with light. Putting her hands on her hips, she heaved a sigh of relief. But her work wasn't over. She went over to get a blanket but found none.
"F*ck. Welp, time to go borrow one. Please excuse me," she said as she stiffly strutted out the door. But as she reached the door, she almost tripped over herself. She almost shouted out a curse before acting as if nothing had happened and walking down the hall. Sae looked at the scene that was enacted before her and tried holding in her laughter.
"I thought she was supposed to be smart," thought Sae as she waited for the maknae to come back. But as she waited, she came to suddenly wonder "Who exactly is she borrowing a blanket from?"
To solve her question, Sae crept down the hallway to where Baek-Ah had walked. Tiptoeing, she arrived at the door where a conversation between two people could be heard. It was the voice of a male talking with Baek-Ah. But before Sae could get closer to decipher what they were saying, her phone rang. The only thought that ran through her head at that split second was, "I f*cked up real bad." To add on to her embarrassment, her ring tone was of a character saying "SH*T SH*T SH*T," so the only thing that was echoing throughout the house was the word sh*t.
Making matters worse, she could hear someone approaching the doorway. But before they opened the door to see the spy, she sprinted down the hallway, phone saying 'sh*t' in hand. Once she had reached the safety of Baek-Ah's room, she heard someone step into the hallway. She listened until she heard the sound of the door close again. She breathed a sigh of relief but looked at who was calling her during the worst time. On the caller ID was written "Unknown." Annoyed, she swiped left to answer the call.
"Hello?" she said in aggravation. Her words were met with silence until suddenly, from the other side of the phone came a familiar laughter.
"Did I call at the wrong time? Or the right time?" asked Jin, still contained in his laughter. Sae's eyes widened. 'How did this guy get her number? Was he a creep or something?' she thought before answering, "How the f*ck did you get my number?"
At Sae's words, Jin's laughter became increasingly louder.
"Still as rebellious as ever I see, Miss Remin," he said teasingly. Sae's face turned red with embarrassment but she asked the question again, persistent in trying to find the answer.
Replying, Jin said "I got it from BANG PD. All the mentors have you guys' numbers saved in our phones."
"Of course. Why hadn't she thought of this?" Sae thought as she mentally facepalmed herself. She then asked the question, "I beg your pardon? But why did you call me?"
"I wanted to ask when you were free... when we're not mentoring Jerome," said Jin.
"Why?" replied Sae with a counter question.
The next response from Jin must've been the shock of Sae's life.
"I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date."
